California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is making a surprise trip to Israel to show solidarity with the Jewish state as it battles Hamas terrorists following a massive Oct. 7 attack that killed over 1,400 people, wounded well over 4,000, and saw over 200 kidnapped.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported:
California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced a surprise trip to Israel on Thursday ahead of a previously announced trip the Democratic governor is taking to China.
“The governor adjusted his planned international trip and will briefly visit Israel ahead of going to China,” spokesperson Erin Mellon said in a statement Thursday. “While in Israel, the governor will meet with those impacted by the violence.”

I’m sending my dog to Israel on Saturday. He’ll be attempting to show he can be more presidential, knowledgeable and intelligent than Biden. He might even do a better job at that than Newsom. I do know one thing for certain. My dog won’t do anything stupid when he goes. Despite that, I don’t recommend that anyone vote for my dog.
Maybe he can offer asylum to the terrorists that are dying to get here

WTF is a state governor who is 6,500 miles from a country with which his state shares no border, doing visiting that country when he is prohibited by law from engaging in making foreign policy?
No one in the media will ever ask him this question.
He’s definitely next in line for the Dem. nomination..
1) Biden drops out for health reasons after securing the Dem nomination. He doesn’t resign, he just says he’s not running.
2) The DNC hands the nomination to Newsom, Biden gives his stamp of approval.
3) Harris makes some noise but fades out with the promise of some $$ and a cushy job somewhere, or a promise of a SC nod if Newsom wins.
4) Newsom start campaigning as a “moderate” with a dark horse running mate. Definitely a woman, preferably a POC, but not Harris....who then??
5) With Newsom running, JFK Jr.’s influence as a 3rd party spoiler wanes.
