Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that she was not ruling out running for president.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Donald Trump is likely to be the next Republican presidential nominee, and he has a decent shot being elected the next president. It could happen. What would a second Donald Trump term look like?”

So principled - she stood up for democracy by serving on a committee of election deniers, including the chairman of the committee that denied her own father’s election.
And of course no one in the press to this day has ever asked her to explain this glaring contradiction.

Cheney was defeated as an incumbent in a Wyoming Republican House Primary in 2022, by 66.3% to 28.9%.
Her bad behavior on the Jan 6th kangaroo hearings had dire consequences for her political future.(She was thrown out on her ass)
