The losers surrounding g trump this time make him an u tenable candidate. Hopefully voters pay attention by Iowa or we are stuck with four more years of senile Biden.

The Assembly, and the State Senate collaborated with him ... He signed the new law on the day he announced his candidacy. Now they are crying foul?

This "Assembly" is a Republican club, not a State, or Party, organization.

I don't know if the "Florida Republican Assembly" carries a big stick in Florida. My suspicion is that it does not, for two reasons.

First, if it did, Florida Freepers would be posting "if the Florida Republican Assembly is calling DeSantis out, he is in big trouble."

Second, and more importantly, if they had a big stick, the press release would rely on that, and not on misleading non Floridians about just what the "Florida Republican Assembly" is.

Conclusion, this is a Trump ally trying to mislead non Floridians into thinking DeSantis is in deep trouble in Florida.

They will vote for a GOP candidate MAGA or not or they will just set home and act ignorant and let the dimwits run the country just as I would hold my nose and vote for a RUMP

I wish he never ran this time around. Just quit Ron. You’re a good man, but let Trump get the nomination and support him. You can run next time around.

"Conclusion, this is a Trump ally trying to mislead non Floridians into thinking DeSantis is in deep trouble in Florida."

It doesn't matter if he's in deep trouble in Florida or not. He set himself up so he didn't have to resign to run for President, and made sure he had a job to go back to once he crashes and burns. He can't run for Governor again, so Floridians are stuck with him until his term of office ends in three years. He can't run again for Governor until four years have passed. By 2028, he will be a distant memory because he's already burned his political bridges on the national scene.

DeSantis is in deep trouble in the remaining 49 States, but let's not talk about that.

No he won’t. DeSantis isn’t liked by the voters. He has a zero chance of ever getting elected.

He has been his own biggest enemy.

You are not MAGA, so I would not expect you to understand.
You can have your fantasy’s if it makes you feel better.
For me it’s Trump or Bust. I will write his name in if need be.

ohhh, the plot thickens. I voted, twice, for Donald Trump and, imho, he truly loves America and did a lot of good for our Country. He would probably do so again. And, I believe there were many irregularities in the 2020 election....hope this doesn’t get me a visit from the FBI! But, again imho, Pres Trump is totally undisciplined in his words and temperament. We know Dems won’t vote for him. And, seems many GOP voters can’t get past his aggressive words and his many indictments...even if unwarranted...and will not vote for him. It terrifies me to think that Biden or any other Dem will be elected in 2024. Our Country will no longer be what our Founders intended.

I believe Gov DeSantis also truly loves America; he’s been a good Governor; he’s smart and strong and disciplined. Unfortunately, Pres Trump planted seeds and the liberal, biased media jumped on the bash DeSantis bandwagon....probably cause they feel threatened by him.

The Democrats consistently march in lock step; they stick together no matter what. Unfortunately, Republicans forgot Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment; they fight each other and give Dems ammunition. Republicans should focus on the many shortcomings (putting it nicely) of the Democrat policies that have contributed to dividing people, diminishing our military, losing respect of Allies, etc.

I pray for our Country.

No he won’t. DeSantis isn’t liked by the voters. He has a zero chance of ever getting elected.

He has been his own biggest enemy.

I don't have a crystal ball, and neither do you. But I know that somebody is afraid of DeSantis because these dumb attacks keep coming. This particular attack is so dishonest that it comes from a group calling itself the "Florida Republican Assembly" to try to trick people into thinking they're an official part of the state legislature.

The voters in Florida, who know him, like him -- his re-election was one of the few strong results for the GOP in the otherwise disappointing 2022 midterms.

As far as I can tell, DeSantis fell in the polls when he went to the right of the general public on abortion, at about the same time that Trump stayed further left. That's the "mistake" DeSantis made, if you really want to call that a mistake.

DeSantis is widely acknowledged to be a good governor. He's taken strong stands on immigration, transgender ideology, the left-wing takeover of education, etc. And he seems to be good at picking people for jobs, which is Trump's weakest area.

And the claim that he should stick to being governor instead of running for President is a red herring; it's just a silly talking point. It goes without saying that most people who run for higher office hold an elected position already -- and experience is a good thing.

Now, as things stand, I'd be happy voting for either Trump or DeSantis against anybody the Democrats nominate in 2024. (I'd vote for Ramaswamy or even Haley also in the unlikely event that one of those two is the nominee, but I don't have the same confidence in their strength of leadership as I do for Trump or DeSantis.)
