“Squad” Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) dodged a censure vote in the House over her history of anti-Israel remarks and participating in a pro-Palestinian protest last month that spilled into a Capitol office building.
The lower chamber on Wednesday night voted 222-186 to block a resolution to censure Tlaib after Firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) introduced the measure last week.
Every Democrat voted to table the resolution, along with Michigan GOP Reps. John Moolenaar, Tim Walberg and Bill Huizenga and 20 other Republican lawmakers.
Thirteen other Democrats and 11 Republicans were absent.
After Greene introduced the resolution to censure Tlaib, Rep. Becca Balint (D-Vt.) responded by forcing a vote to censure Greene in a tit-for-tat exchange on the House floor last week.
But shortly after the vote to censure Tlaib was killed, Democrats nixed their plans to vote for the resolution to censure Greene.
“Given the fact that this conference voted unanimously for an election denier, there was a question of whether my resolution to censure Rep. Greene could pass with the votes it needed from ‘moderate’ Republicans,” Balint said in a statement announcing she was pulling back her resolution.
“Tonight, when 23 Republicans said ‘no’ to Rep. Greene’s bigotry, I saw this situation a little differently. I want to thank them for doing the right thing. And I’m going to hold back on the vote for now,” Balint said.
Greene’s resolution faults Tlaib for “antisemitic activity, sympathizing with terrorist organizations, and leading an insurrection at the United States Capitol Complex.”

The feds have decided that America is split 50 / 50 voting and is beginning to require states must have 50% repub and 50% dem representation. It is done by forcing maps be drawn giving blue regions of states more ability to control elections by fraudulent means. The lamestream media complies to help in the fraud. No investigations will occur unless a republican wins. Then so what if a repub wins. The uniparty will be supported by that repub or that repub will be Re districted and heaven forbid the repub be Conservative cause then all heck can break loose.
Democrats know their numbers are few and must cheat and import new voters. The people are being imported to vote blue. If the imported people voted Conservative the WALL would already be built. Fraud and imported voters but mostly fraud keeps the uniparty in power. The lamestream media is lying which is what they do.
And slick Tim Walberg will gladly defend his vote for his “friend and coleague across the aisle.” BS I have always supported Walberg. That ended yesterday.

They have to go along with the Deep State. Otherwise, all the info about their interactions with nubile young boys will be made public.
At this point I only blame ourselves. The naive followers who elect the filth in our government over and over and over again. We did this, we voted for and put in the filth on our side of the aisle. We believe the lies our side politicians spew and forgive the actions from those same pols that cross the line. By forgive, I mean we allow them to prosper in DC, even get rich, by continuing to vote for self serving, not we the people serving idiots. He’s it’s our fault and we will either live with the beast as it continues to thrive and grow larger and larger. I hate our government t, all of them.
We can only be held responsible for the representatives of our respective districts, or the representatives of our respective states, in terms of voting. On the organizational level, the party machines are the ones who help them get elected, both locally and nationally, and then there are the fat cats, like the Koch Brothers, who fund the whole mess. The one hope I have is Trump, and he’ll only have four years to fix the rot of centuries. Those four years will have to be a revolution by other means than force of arms. Or force of arms if that fails.
It’s actually demographic. The land mass is overwhelmingly conservative, but the urban coastal areas, though small, are densely populated, and can counterbalance the rural and suburban areas, and also has a machine in place to cheat like mother-f@#$ers.
