Two years after Nikki Haley vowed not to challenge Donald Trump for the presidential nomination, the former South Carolina governor who served in his administration and once called him a “friend” is becoming the standard-bearer of the movement to knock him out.
In recent weeks, Haley has drawn a surge in support from Trump-skeptical Republicans across the GOP, including donors and organizers in early voting states. A group of former Tim Scott donors is preparing to host a fundraiser for her in Manhattan. Haley’s campaign events in New Hampshire this week required overflow rooms. And in Iowa — where Haley has steeper competition from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — some conservatives are busy corralling support for her.
“Nikki Haley is certainly locking up a lot of the Never Trumpers,” said Matthew Bartlett, a Republican operative who has worked on several presidential campaigns and is unaffiliated this cycle. “She also has real room to grow.”
Donors getting ready to host Haley in New York on Dec. 4 include two people close to Paul Singer, the hedge fund billionaire who has been critical of Trump. Greg Wendt, a former Scott supporter who has donated to moderate, anti-Trump Republicans such as John Kasich and John McCain, is now expressing interest in Haley, according to a New York City-based Republican fundraiser granted anonymity to speak freely about private conversations. And Doug Gross, a Republican operative who was the Iowa GOP nominee for governor in 2002, told POLITICO he plans to caucus for Haley after surveying the field for months in search of an alternative to Trump.
“Never Trumpers and ‘Anybody but Trumpers’ are really consolidating around her from a financial standpoint,” said Gross, who was chief of staff to former Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad.

If a candidate does not earn your vote, undervote the office. Voting for a candidate just because they are from your tribe only serves to elect people that won’t represent you.
That said, Nikki Haley is GWB in a skirt. She would start more forever wars to benefit her donors and do absolutely nothing for American citizens. She is not going to earn my vote.
Yeah? Then what do they plan to do when only 10 million republican voters turn up at the polls? It will be more than the Trump supporters who won’t turn up.

Name calling in the political arena is practically a requirement. Candidates for every office imaginable (including POTUS) have done it and won their elections since this Republic was founded. You need to brush up on your history.
remember. These are the communist republicans that will not vote for Trump in the general and which will cause at least a loss in PA. This group also includes the republican baby killers. who will vote for the democrat here as demonstrated in the last election. Also, There are no never bidens in the demoncrat camp.
The Republicans better start worring about the ‘Never Haley’ vote. And they better not try weasel her into the V.P. spot.
I would normally say voting 3rd party is a wasted vote, but after he “ban anonymous users” quote, I’d rather see anybody else in the White House.

It would pretty much end the illusion that the Republican Party is an opposition party.
So by the time Iowa rolls around, the GOP field will probably be narrowed down to: Haley, Vivek, & Trump.
Two of which are of Indian descent.
One establishment and two anti-establishment candidates.
The majority of the vote will certainly go to the two anti-establishment candidates.

They ONLY chance the GOPe has to beat Trump in the primaries is get behind a single candidate. Thus DeSantis will have dropped out, as Haley seems to be the chosen establishment candidate.
