Hi All on the TFT....
We seem to have come to a bit of a crossroads, and many of you may not be aware of what has transpired.
I’ve never been one to hide from the truth, once I recognize it. And pretending like there are not 2 ongoing Trump threads with people put in the middle of a feud-of-sorts is just preposterous to me.
Just like Republicans of another era, I think people need to know the truth and then get to decide anything else for themselves. Not to be manipulated, coerced, guilted, etc. FR is a microcosm of the country.
• Another Trump thread was created, possibly with the intent to sabotage the original. The same ping list created for and by train posters was taken and used, so most of you are getting pings to both threads. (This rather fervent posting and pinging campaign, which is certainly going to pull people over to where they are, and subsequently away from Dolly’s TFT thread, started before the new thread creation, but is still in effect)
• the MAGA thread, which is obviously just their own version of the TFT thread, is completely controlled by the 2 ladies that posted the TFT before me. (they just left one day without explanation. I didn’t want the train derailed so I volunteered temporarily). Their campaign of constant posting and pinging and encouraging everyone to stay on their thread has worked beautifully, as intended. A few of us are not wanted on the thread (as one of their posters has stated), and we pretty much figured it out by not being invited lol. It’s perfectly logical to assume that the whole reason for a duplicate thread from them was for control of it, and leaving out those you don’t like. If this doesn’t bother anyone, then there’s no reason not to join in their thread. However, if you post something they object to, you are told in no uncertain terms to leave, and if you don’t, Jim Robinson will be called upon to give you the final boot (poor guy....he needs this like a hole in the head). My “crime” was standing up for an an 84 year old Widow that was being simultaneously attacked and laughed at by four other posters. So you might be given the boot for just about anything, it definitely wouldn’t have to be a political difference. Not all people are what they seem.
• Some have left the TFT thread, and others are trying to post on both threads, which seems like a bit of a nuisance to them, and they must feel like they’re being put in the middle.
So now we are wondering if everyone just wants to join the MAGA thread (with the exception of those not wanted, of course), and call it a day. Maybe it’s time for the ol’ TFT to finally pull into the station, after 7 fun years, until the apparent sabotage won out.
All TFT riders, please let us know your thoughts.
(ps. Thanks so much, Dolly, for all the years of fun and learning! I’m sorry you have been treated so unfairly. You are a giver of love, charity, and laughter.)

Ya this really sucks and is rather juvenile in the way all this started and is going. It would be sad for this to fold in such a way.

I noticed that there were two somewhat similar threads, but I see a difference in that one seems to be just political for the election and the Trump Family Train is that and so much more.
There are few threads that are worth very much on FreeRepublic these days because somehow FR went from having comments which added value to the topic in the article to the claim that it’s a “tradition” on FreeRepublic to comment without reading the article. Many comments are already answered in the article. Free Republic is still very effective at informing me what is in the news.

Thanks for standing up for me Cotton when they said “Kick the Horses ass out” or something to that effect. It is NOT right that they black balled you/me and a few others for standing up.
The black ball started when they were still pinging everyone to the Rally threads but not posting on the TFT anymore. We were getting pinged to those rally threads, but all of a sudden WE WERE NOT.
When you took over the TFT shortly after that they started the MAGA and said they were pinging a “Few Friends” but anyone could see it was the same ping list with our names removed.
“My crime” started when I took over the Birthday list and asked people who I saw come on the TFT but I didn’t see them on the BD list if they would like to be on the BD list. MANY did so I added them.
In PM’s with the 2, NOW MAGA ladies, after some back and forth I was asked to remove those names because they had NOT been vetted long enough and they might be anti-Trump. I basically told them I would NOT remove them as I had gone to a lot of work on the BD list and I had scaned their postings and found nothing wrong. If at such time I did find something wrong I would remove them. They said they kept a close watch on who was ALLOWED on the TFT.
It was after that time apparently they didn’t like me defying them that one of them in particular started making snide remarks on my postings. I called her out and that is when several others piled on me and was laughing at the “Horses Ass”
Then like you said one day the 2 of them just quit posting and when people would ask them if they were going to post the NEXT TFT thread come January 2024 they would not answer.
So like Cottonball said she was asked to take over as the engineer and kept the TFT going down the tracks.
After about a week then these 2 ladies (I am sure you all know who we are talking about) started the MAGA thread and pinged everyone one the TFT list MINUS us few. Even NOW if someone comments on the TFT who may have been added to the TFT list by ME when asked if they wanted to join they ping them to their MAGA thread.
Then just the other day when Iron Munro posted this; on the TFT

You are right that everything isn’t as it seems, and that Jim doesn’t need this.
(but there are three pro Trump threads this sort of stuff harms, not just two.)
Jim graciously stepped in and restored me to the Q threads after similar
nonsense took place there. The TFT threads accepted me without too much
fuss during that silliness.
There is a war on to keep as much evil in place as possible, and the enemy is
even among us, pridefully, and taking advantage of Jim’s condition when
they can, it seems.
My humble recommendation is to first Call Out, then Blatantly ignore the High
School antics and just vigorously Anon On, in active, vigilant support of our
stolen President’s quest to Make America Great Again.
Enough of us keep doing that and keep getting involved at all levels,
and the U.S. of A. may not be lost just yet.
We are each other’s support.
The space we have made for each other must not be given up lightly.
