So maybe now is the time for this post:
Hi All on the TFT....
We seem to have come to a bit of a crossroads, and many of you may not be aware of what has transpired.
I’ve never been one to hide from the truth, once I recognize it. And pretending like there are not 2 ongoing Trump threads with people put in the middle of a feud-of-sorts is just preposterous to me.
Just like Republicans of another era, I think people need to know the truth and then get to decide anything else for themselves. Not to be manipulated, coerced, guilted, etc. FR is a microcosm of the country.
• Another Trump thread was created, possibly with the intent to sabotage the original. The same ping list created for and by train posters was taken and used, so most of you are getting pings to both threads. (This rather fervent posting and pinging campaign, which is certainly going to pull people over to where they are, and subsequently away from Dolly’s TFT thread, started before the new thread creation, but is still in effect)
• the MAGA thread, which is obviously just their own version of the TFT thread, is completely controlled by the 2 ladies that posted the TFT before me. (they just left one day without explanation. I didn’t want the train derailed so I volunteered temporarily). Their campaign of constant posting and pinging and encouraging everyone to stay on their thread has worked beautifully, as intended. A few of us are not wanted on the thread (as one of their posters has stated), and we pretty much figured it out by not being invited lol. It’s perfectly logical to assume that the whole reason for a duplicate thread from them was for control of it, and leaving out those you don’t like. If this doesn’t bother anyone, then there’s no reason not to join in their thread. However, if you post something they object to, you are told in no uncertain terms to leave, and if you don’t, Jim Robinson will be called upon to give you the final boot (poor guy....he needs this like a hole in the head). My “crime” was standing up for an an 84 year old Widow that was being simultaneously attacked and laughed at by four other posters. So you might be given the boot for just about anything, it definitely wouldn’t have to be a political difference. Not all people are what they seem.
• Some have left the TFT thread, and others are trying to post on both threads, which seems like a bit of a nuisance to them, and they must feel like they’re being put in the middle.
So now we are wondering if everyone just wants to join the MAGA thread (with the exception of those not wanted, of course), and call it a day. Maybe it’s time for the ol’ TFT to finally pull into the station, after 7 fun years, until the apparent sabotage won out.
All TFT riders, please let us know your thoughts.
(ps. Thanks so much, Dolly, for all the years of fun and learning! I’m sorry you have been treated so unfairly. You are a giver of love, charity, and laughter.)

Ya this really sucks and is rather juvenile in the way all this started and is going. It would be sad for this to fold in such a way.
