He & his family were/are all Gazans. So, he’s not as much spy as colluder & enabler. Also, a number of his family were killed during previous Israeli bombings in Gaza after the Oct. attack, so I’m guessing he was happy to play a part in killing Israelis. IOW, he wasn’t an unbiased reporter.

There have been a number of articles about reporters being told about the Oct. 7th attack beforehand, because they were on the scene filming from the start.
