Hope the mayor has an effective antiseptic cream for all those splinters she’s getting from riding that fence.

“Our goal is not to keep people locked up”

Translation: mass incarceration works

Why not make people who are arrested for theft wear collars until they are convicted or acquitted?

San Califrisco and stiffen seems to go hand in hand.

But I digress....

“Our goal is not to keep people locked up,”

************************************************************

Ok, don’t put em in expensive prison. Give them 100 lashes!

All petty crime would disappear over night! Even mentally ill would “get it” and not steal.

Put 100 of the worst thieves on a platform in the public square and start lashing! 2 days later you could leave hundred dollar bills on display in the front door of Macy’s and no one would touch them.

“Our goal is not to keep people locked up,” said Breed, who is running for reelection in 2024, according to the Chronicle. “But when there are no real consequences for crimes that are committed in this city, that’s a real problem.”

Maybe a slap on the wrist and a piece of the cake the City wants to have and eat too.

California’s liberals have been getting mugged by the reality that criminals cannot be dissuaded from crime by good intentions and lack of punishment. With the public who voted for liberal criminal justice policies now suffering the consequences, there is a grave risk of them looking for new leaders and new polices.

The real problem is all the conservatives have left the big cities and all you have left is lots of liberals.
There is nobody to elect that thinks critically.
No thinking person wants to live in their BS
city. bye bye.

I don't know why London Breed would run for reelection. She hasn't done anything good for the City, and has let it rot under her watch. People noticed. And now she is attempting cleanup on aisle 1 after it got strewn with garbage and crap?

The word is panic, but a sentence describes it: "Deer caught frozen in headlights".
