Nikki Haley suggests Trump is aiming to 'take' the election by promoting his daughter-in-law for RNC leadership

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley suggested Tuesday that former President Donald Trump is trying to "take" the 2024 election by promoting a former adviser, a current campaign adviser and his daughter-in-law to top GOP leadership posts.

"Now he has decided he has fired the RNC chair," Haley said at an event Tuesday morning in her hometown of Bamberg, South Carolina, referring to Trump's endorsement of a successor to Ronna McDaniel as chair of the Republican National Committee if she decides to step down in the coming days. "He's named who's going to be the new RNC chair. His daughter-in-law will be the co-chair, and he is making his campaign manager the officer that runs the party."

"Think about what’s happening right now," she continued. "Is that how you’re going to try and take an election?"

Trump is the uniparty. If dems keep the Senate and take the House, Trump will sign whatever bill they put in front of him. He tried it last time, he’s a dem at heart, and he switches sides depending on who is kissing up to him in the moment.

If all RNC money goes to him, and to no down-ballot races, guess who will ultimately be running the country.

Well, the RNC will also need to help with down ticket races and GOTV efforts. Trump needs help if MAGA and draining the swamp are to happen in a second term. Because you can be sure the McConnells and Grahams will be doing their best to sabotage any of those efforts.

Scott Pressler's group and others doing the groundwork have been screaming for years now that they have been getting little to no help from the RNC.
Now I can't know it for certain, but it seems to me to be less from ineptitude and more by design. And the dropoff in incoming funds is a bonus, if the 'by design' theory holds.
But, if potential donors KNOW their money will be used to elect candidates that actually represent their interests, the donations might pour in again.
