Hamas has conquered London’s Big Ben

It is difficult to imagine a greater shock than seeing the Hamas slogan “from the river to the sea” projected onto Big Ben in London.

It flows in large letters on the most iconic tower in the United Kingdom, perhaps the world. The screening was authorized by the Metropolitan Police, who had already allowed parades through the streets of London with the flags of ISIS, the Taliban and Hamas after October 7th.

“The Islamists are in charge of Britain,” wrote former Home Secretary Suella Braverman in the Telegraph.

“October 7 transformed the idea of liberating Palestine 'from the river to the sea' into a realistic idea that was already underway,” said Khaled Meshaal, Hamas leader in exile in Doha. Hamas has made it clear, time and again, that “Free Palestine” is a call for an Islamic state encompassing all of Israel, for the annihilation of the Jewish state and the genocide of its inhabitants, which Hamas willingly admits. For them it is not a border conflict, but a holy war.

Mahmoud al Zahar, the “surgeon of Hamas", explained that the destruction of Israel is only the first objective of the Islamic Ummah. Europe comes after and duringogether.

And if there is one city that Islamic fundamentalists would like to conquer (spoiler: they are doing so), it is London, with all its fashion, profit, consumerism, individualism, elegance, luxury, freedom, illusion, alienation, advertising, success, glittering shop windows and absolutely futile and profitable economic empires.

Time for yet another stanza to my work in process (begun in 2008!) which began lampooning the British schools’ infatuation with appeasing Islam:

“From river to the sea”
The Muzzie’s cry you see
Upon Big Ben.
Christ’s Kingdom commeth yet
Will the Brits’ Empire get
Where the sun never sets?
Never again.

I’ve shape shifted on Netanyahu once. I’ve made hundreds of pro Israel, pro Netanyahu posts here over the last decade and a half. They were 100%, unquestioned support. The posts are there. It’s very easy to check. My first anti Netanyahu post was made in the days following 10/7. I made the posts after realizing while Netanyahu fiddled in the Ukraine, giving support and military assets to the Ukes to curry favor in DC, he was comatose asleep at the wheel when it came to protecting Israel. If he had been paying attention, 10/7 would have been a bloodbath for the Hamas animals who attacked that day and the Israeli border would have been protected. This happened on the watch of the guy who billed himself the lord protector of Israel. He lost my support then. Israel is in the process of losing my support as the Gaza massacres of civilians continue. In my mind there is no difference between a murdered innocent Palestinian child and a murdered innocent Jewish child. To me at least there is a difference between 100 murdered Israeli children and ten thousand murdered Palestinian children. Israel is losing long time, unequivocally pro Israel supporters all over the world due to this. I know this from personal experience. Israel has only one unquestioning supporter left among nations, the U.S. Gaza is hemorrhaging off that support among our populace. Again, this I know from personal experience and what we all read everyday. Netanyahu is going to destroy Israel if this continues. I’m sure you realize that the Sampson Option kills more Jews than Hitler did. This “from river to sea” Israeli campaign may very well force Sampson’s hand. The translation is correct. Since 1977, the Israeli Likud Party's manifesto has been: "Between the sea and the Jordan (River) there will only be Israeli sovereignty.”

Netanyahu's political raison d'être has been to secure the real estate from the Jordan River to the sea without absorbing the indigenous people who would diminish the Jewish majority in Israel.

Netanyahu has not been serious about peace, ever. For him, a little bit of constant war has been a political strategy that has always worked in his favor.

Keeping the West Bank and Gaza Palestinian leadership at odds helped Bibi enormously --- allowing him to opine he has no one to negotiate with. This was the driving force behind his support for Hamas and his long authorizations for Qatar to release pallets of US dollars to Hamas estimated to be more than a billion dollars.

Netanyahu's last authorization for a cash release to Hamas was in Sep 2023 -- so confident was he that his strategy was brilliant and he had successfully bought off the Hamas threat.

And then Netanyahu's political raison d'être chickens came home to roost.

Everything but aid, which I’m not for, unless it comes out of the UN budget. Israel has had to fight for it’s exestince from the begining.

I agree with you on the aid. But, this isn't "the beginning" any more. Israel is not a Jewish ghetto devoid of a global voice, allies, an impressive economy and military strength.

I respect Trump's successful efforts to help Israel integrate into the region as an economic partner with its neighbors --- with the hope of regional military alliances against extremists on the horizon. This is where and how Israel secures its peace, prosperity and global stature.

I'm heartsick watching all this hope going up in smoke because Israel can't or won't see beyond 1967.

Netenyahu is dealing with an Israli Deep State just like Trump was.

Hardly. Netanyahu has been in the top tier of Israeli politics since the 1980s. He is the longest serving Prime Minister in Israel history: 1996-1999, 2009-2021, 2022 and currently. When not serving as PM, he held numerous Ministerial posts, including Opposition Leader in the Knesset.

In Israeli politics, Benjamin Netanyahu IS the deep state.

Your sentiments are well placed but your assumptions are not exact.

Problem is this: Any explanation is long-winded and repetitive, some are accused of lying or propagandizing. Here we are dealing with HISTORICAL FACT, in short, it gets boring after 3 sentences but here we go:

Yes, GB won (read:”Conquered”) the area now known as Israel, Jordan and a very problematic name: “Palestine” in 1917.

In WWI, the British army attacked Beer Sheva, then Gaza (yes Gaza was a problematic in WWI and since Biblical times), failing to take it I believe twice. She succeeded eventually blasting the Ottoman Turks out of that region, (Gaza) and pushed them north towards Jerusalem.

While GB blasted the Turks in Palestine she fought for Jerusalem then (with Ge. Allenby and T.E. Lawrence) conquered Damascus which is Syria’s capital today. Look how well Assad is running HIS country!

There was no State of Israel, Trans-Jordan, Syria or independent Lebanon. The French and British divided up the region for “areas of influence. The French took the Lebanon and Syria, while the British took Trans-Jordan and Palestine., (Sykes-Picot agreement).

The British CONQUERED AND OCCUPIED an area they would eventually call BRITISH MANDATE PALESTINE. That included a swath of an area called “Trans-Jordan” to the East of the Jordan river (similar to today’s misguided and ignorant rabble who shout, “from the river to the sea”) and Palestine to the West of the Jordan River.

From 1917-1948 the British ruled via an iron fist. There were no pleading for the “innocent” Arabs and Jews living AS CITIZENS of (here we go again with the problematic term, “Palestine”), that is, there were Jewish Palestinians and Arab Palestinians from 1917-1948.

Who ruled Palestine? Not the Jews and certainly not the Arabs.

During the mandate period the British promised the Arabs of the region, (not yet called “Palestinians”, that would come later in 1964 by the PLO’s Yassir Arafart), an Arab homeland and in 1917 promised the Jews a homeland, (see Lord Balfour declaration).

Now the Arabs and Jews did not live in harmony under British rule. The Jews wanted to increase immigration while the Arabs opposed it.

From 1920-1948 the Arabs rioted, killed, raped and destroyed Jewish property in Jerusalem, Safed, Hebron, Jaffa and many other towns. Today this is popularly called an “Intifada” but it is really just a violent riot. Does this pattern sound familiar?

The violence was so bad that the League of Nations sent repeated fact-finding committees to figure out how to smooth things over in Palestine.
ALL CONCLUSIONS FOR COMMPROMISE by these many commissions were met by a Jewish OK and an Arab NO WAY. This happened time and time again. Arabs NO COMPROMISE, JEWS-OK.

By 1948 there were many terror and counter terror attacks carried out by Jews against Arabs and sometimes British forces while the Arabs attacked the Jews.

By May of 1948 the powder keg was about the explode and an exhausted and financially broken Britain quit Palestine.

They gave more leeway to Arab irregular forces and Jordanian forces as the Jews were outnumbered and outgunned. The Jews claim the Brits assisted the Arabs while the Arabs accuse the British of helping the Jews. There are facts to prove any claim, especially on the ground.

With the British leaving a vacuum, 5 new Arabs states attacked Israel with the STATED GOAL of GENOCIDE, (look it up). The Arabs miraculously lost in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, 1982 and all the “Operations” since then. Yet they cling to a rigid, non-compromising position.

The rest is history.

So for all those “From the river to the sea” A-holes realize that this is the Arab call for GENOCIDE against the Jews, something they did on October 7th yet again.
It is not the case that the Israeli army is committing any sort of genocide on the residents of Gaza. They wanted a war on October 7th and now they are reaping what they sew.
