Nikki Haley says she’s no longer bound by RNC pledge to endorse Trump if he wins
NBC News ^ | March 3, 2024 | Alexandra Marquez

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley no longer feels bound by a pledge made to the Republican National Committee that she would support the GOP presidential nominee, she said in an interview that aired Sunday.

Asked by NBC News’ “Meet the Press” moderator Kristen Welker, “So you’re no longer bound by that pledge?” Haley responded that she was not obligated to endorse former President Donald Trump if he becomes the Republican nominee.

“No, I think I’ll make what decision I want to make, but that’s not something I’m thinking about,” she said, noting that “if you talk about an endorsement, you’re talking about a loss. I don’t think like that.”

Yes, Nikki Haley is annoying, but in 2016 Donald Trump didn’t at first pledge to support the Republican nominee whoever it might be. After he did, he and Cruz and Kasich all backed off from their pledges. That seems to be the new normal.

I must have read one hundred articles about Nikki and I think I understand her.

She is a high performing sociopath—which is not that unusual among politicians, senior corporate executives, high achievers of various kinds.

They tend to treat other humans as objects, have little real empathy for others, are good at fake emotions and manipulation of others, are good at gaslighting and virtue signaling etc etc etc.

Normally it is their subordinates—and of course spouses—who get to see their negative side up close and personal. The outside world just gets occasional hints.

However if put under extraordinary stress—put in “no win” scenarios where bluffing is not working—then they can spin wildly out of control—even in public.

“Normal” people will just gently back away in those situations, acknowledge they made mistakes and apologize to others—but the sociopath is incapable of doing that since they do not acknowledge the importance of other people—it is “me me me me” as another poster noted earlier in this thread.

When they “break” anything could happen—suicide, murder of others, emotional breakdown—anything.

Fasten your seat belts—I do not know if Nikki the pilot ever figured out how to land this plane.

Trump’s history of “name-calling” his opponents: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nicknames_used_by_Donald_Trump
“ ... Maybe that works in DT’s New York City but I doubt it flies elsewhere. Certainly explains why senile Biden is POTUS.

I was just teasing you. Heaven knows I have double posted many a times over the years.

A third time would have been just as true.

“Does Trump think dubbing the former Gov of SC “Birdbrain”...”

There’s a concept called “social proof”.

People want to be associated with winners; with people that others talk about positively. This is why ridicule is such a powerful tool.

This is why GSR (guilt, shame, and reputation attacks) are so commonly used by the left. The want to make association with a person a negative.

Trump doesn’t have it down as well as the left, but he does a better job of using the tool than most on the right (which is not at all).

GSR is very effective in moving women’s votes.

LOL based on hurt feelings...
That’s where you think the problem lies.
Follow the $ trail, who is paying Nimratta?
What is her track records, who endorses her?
What are her position statements hint they ain’t conservative they are Neocon, Big Gov’t & leftist?

It wasn’t the nickname she earned and Trump gave her; it is her basic immorality and allegiance to the never-Trump & to the left.
Are you ignoring that she openly campaigned for leftists to vote for her in the open primaries? Her backers are pointing her like a weapon, against America & against Trump.

With her husband currently deployed overseas, he should be concerned about their marriage vows.

Obviously, promises mean nothing to Nimrata.

I voted for DT twice but won’t again. His juvenile “name-calling” is disqualifying imo. Even Senile Joe seems to have more self-control than DT. Imo DT cares more about preventing other Rs from getting the nomination than he does in winning it himself.

I’m sorry but you are off base.
Biden is POTUS IN Name Only because of a fraudulent election.

Trump is in no way to blame for not stopping the steal.

Trump’s insults are a small part of Trump and they are handed out for cause. Maybe they sting your sense of propriety but with the Country going to hell in a hand basket rooting for the other team or tearing down Trump for his style and ignoring his substance and achievements works against America.
If you want America as the EU just keep up your diatribe.

“How can she claim to be a serious candidate and not even visit those states once?”

i can’t speak to the “serious candidate claim” issue, but from a strategic campaign issue, i’ve been thinking about WHY her campaign ignored those caucus states, and the reasons i believe are:

1. it’s extremely expensive and time consuming to mount a campaign to try to influence caucus goers AND there are not that many delegates in those states to start with ... i would also imagine that if her campaign did internally polling in those states they indicated she didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hades anyway ...

2. she could answer any questions (if even asked), by disingenuously claiming that “of course i lost, because we didn’t campaign in those states” ...

The problem is that there are probably twenty more states just like them—and suddenly we are talking many hundreds of delegates.

Missouri had 51 delegates compared to South Carolina’s 50 delegates btw.

A challenger who “skips” states will be road kill real quick.

Well, she is a globalist, so she doesn’t reflect the electorate anyway.

Ever since she decided to erase history with the Confederate flag removal, she’s been an enemy of free people.

“However if put under extraordinary stress—put in “no win” scenarios where bluffing is not working—then they can spin wildly out of control—even in public.”

i’ve personally seen that ... during a job interview i helped conduct, all of a candidate’s BS, bluffing, fake claims of knowledge, etc., were blatantly exposed by questions from our truly knowledgeable expert interview panel ... suddenly and with no warning of any kind, the guy reacted as if a literal demon had been unleashed ... he seemed to grow in size and this massive blast of powerful evil energy blasted out of him and washed over everyone in the room ... it shook me to the core ... i’ve never seen anything like it before or sense, but it was real ...
