President Joe Biden will reportedly brag during his State of the Union address on Thursday about the alleged success of “Bidenomics,” a term coined by the Biden administration to put a bow on the president’s economic agenda.
If Biden does boast about his alleged economic success, it could come across as tone-deaf for Americans struggling to afford necessities.
As citizens suffer from prices about 20 percent higher across the board since Biden assumed office, most taxpayers believe Biden’s economic policies will cause prices to rise, a recent YouGov poll found. Only 17 percent think his policies will make prices fall.

No, hard to even consider that with the BS from Cowboyusa, backpacker_c, and their ilk. But that aside, Trump should have given the rebuttal, not Senator Britt. And he should get back on X instead of his failed Truth Social. He lost on both accounts tonight, which is unhelpful as it leaves screaming Biden leading the news.

FYI, I have not said anything anti-Trump today/tonight. I have been clear that Trump should have been the rebuttal speaker but that was apparently McConnell’s parting shot to not do so. And I’ve said all along from day one that Truth Social was a failure and has many have said, Trump needs to give it up and get back on X. The result of both not happening is that Trump was unnecessarily sidelined tonight. That’s not anti-Trump.
The most disturbing part of Biden’s speech to me was his attacks/threats on the Supreme Court. At least three times he went after them. The one on student loans was really insulting. Bragging how he was able to bypass the courts rulings twice.

I can’t help but wish that someone like Ashleigh Merchant had given the response. That woman is awesome. Strong, effective and extremely resolute. The GOP would definitely be better off with someone like her in their ranks.
