Conspiracy Theories About the Moscow Attack Are Unnecessary [History of Russia & ISIS-K]
The Atlantic ^ | March 23, 2024 | Graeme Wood

Posted on 03/23/2024 5:26:19 PM PDT by canuck_conservative

ISIS had a huge Russian and Central Asian contingent in its heyday.

About one out of every five Russian citizens is Muslim, but that population is not evenly distributed either geographically or socioeconomically. In cities, a lot of taxi drivers and hard-luck laborers have names like Magomedov and Ismailov, indicative of Muslim ancestry....

The center of geographic gravity of Islam in Russia is the Northern Caucasus, the site of domestic strife and bloodshed in a series of episodes going back centuries. Some groups around Dagestan and Chechnya have become proficient guerrilla warriors, and Putin perfected his own harsh methods on them during the Chechen Wars of the 1990s and 2000s. Those wars ended with a decisive Russian victory and the installation of micro-Putins, such as Kadyrov ...

The rise of ISIS was useful for Russia, which could imagine no better destination for its domestic jihadists than a faraway conflict with a conveniently high mortality rate. Anyone so inclined could go to Iraq or Syria with Moscow’s tacit blessing. That is one reason the number of ISIS members coming from Russia was so high: They were more or less permitted to go, so that they would self-detonate or run into machine-gun fire there, rather than make trouble within Russia’s borders. Many of those who went are now dead, as hoped. Some are not, and many of those have not lost their fervor. They just need a new object for it.

The connection between Russia and ISIS is, in other words, overdetermined. The cruelty of the killing and even the choice of venue—a concert hall—are all awfully familiar to anyone acquainted with jihadism in Russia. What comes next will be familiar too. The horrific videos and claims of responsibility have already arrived. Next will be a brutal reply from the Russian state....

I openly admit I was wrong

I thought this was another Russian false-flag setup, given Putin's previous actions in 1999. But it does appear to really be the work of ISIS-K, which means Putin is now facing a second adversary

"Islamic State Khorasan Province “has taken on a more central role in planning attacks abroad,” Tore Hamming, a jihadism researcher at the risk-management consultancy Refslund Analytics, told me by text. He said a number of recent events, such as the arrests of suspected members in Turkey, suggest that the group is planning attacks outside its usual area of operations."

Canadian Intelligence helped Shamima Begum join ISIS in Syria along with other 15-year old girls.

That’s what her lawyers found out when they tried to get her British citizenship back.

So Canadian intelligence works with whom?

I smell CIA behind ISIS because Hezbollah, Iran and the Russkies helped Assad stay in power in Syria when the first wave of Al Qaeda jihadists were unleashed in 2011.

It messed up the “Arab Spring” scheme of the James Bond-Felix Leiter crowd of the Deep State.

ISIS-K? That’s a weasel term the state department invented when the Taliban blew up the gate with the Marines in Kabul. They had to invent a new term or admit we were being chased out by the Taliban.

ISIS-K lol, I say it was Raisin Bran.

Then why would ISIS attack American troops, if America was funding them?

Your “theory” makes no sense

“ISIS” was originally “Islamic State in Syria”

but in Russia, with all the former fighters from Syria living there, they call themselves “ISIS Khorasan Province”, or ISIS-K for short

Once the US military bugged out ISIS moved in that’s what I see in Afghanistan.

ISIS huh? The CIA and Ukrainians losing their war wouldn’t have an interest in trying to start a war in the Caucuses, now would they?

The attack was created by the CIA and Ukes for the purpose of opening a second front and hopefully causing widespread trouble with Russia’s moslem population.

ISIS was a new strain of terrorism that got out of control sort of like Qatari-funded with Israeli blessing Hamas did in Gaza.

ISIS bled right into Iraq forcing US military intervention and conflict with ISIS since then but at the beginning ISIS was a new strain unleashed to counter Russan-Iranian-Hezbollah help for Assad.

In those US backed Kurdish staffed ISIS prison camps in Syria I suspect recruitment in recent years to do MI6-CIA dirty work where needed.

Wow, Frenchy, your source for this is the famously honest and pro-American ‘The Atlantic’ (yes, major league sarcasm). Jeez, I guess now that your initial squirrel (“it’s a false flag”) got zero traction despite arduous ZEEPER efforts to push it it’s now time to move on to Squirrel #2 (ISIS-K).

You ZEEPERS are oh, so predictable.

Yes, you were and still are wrong.

Stooge Tajik Islamic Terrorists of the worst possible kind were hired online by anonymous experts in funding, supplying, planning, surveillance, communication and executing Murder and Violence for Intimidation and Demoralization.

The anonymous people trained to do that so well are not Tajik Terrorists or their government, they are the CIA, who can also engineer a phony US Embassy "Warning" designed to anger Russians conveniently, seven days before the Terrorist attack and allay suspicion of US involvement.

Just more of your Nazi Zeeper lies to misdirect attention to the Stooges rather than the Masters.
