And it's their own damn fault.
And there in lies the problem. I trust anything our government says about as much as I trust Putin. Actually, I probably trust our government less.
It was probably the Italian mafia, not some Ukrainian Muslims.
Remember, the US first said Russia blew up it’s own gas line. Later on investigators proved it was our own CIA/Navy that did it. The US countered and said it was a renegade Ukrainian group using a Danish fishing boat. So lame. So, if Russia has the evidence from the suspects they captured, it’s probably true. I don’t think they were supposed to be caught.
Why is our government calling it “baseless”? Isn’t that up to the Ukrainian government to do?
It may indeed be baseless, I don’t trust the Russians to tell the truth. But how do we have the authority to make the claim on behalf of a foreign country? If some secret radical group of rebels, here or there or anywhere, plans something horrible - how does any government have any control over it or the credibility to deny anything about its origin?
The credibility of our government has nothing to do with ISIS claiming credit for the attack and having video sent to them from the attack to prove it.
