If you had ever been to Ukraine and Russia you would see the difference. The Ukrainians are a freedom-loving and America-loving people. The Russians are led by an American-hating murderous dictator. If Russia is allowed to enrich itself with Ukrainian resources, it will be a more formidable enemy of America and all constitutional republics.
It is sad that you believe in appeasement in the face of Neo-Soviet aggression.

NATO was rebuilt by Putin’s invasions of the Republic of Georgia and Ukraine. It took a lot of belligerence from Moscow to cause even Sweden to drop its long-cherished neutrality and clamor to be part of that necessary defensive alliance.

Thanks, my wife fights the Russian trolls on sites like Facebook and Classmates (which is bigger in Eastern Europe than here) and uses her Russian and Ukrainian language skills. She can’t believe that FreeRepublic has so many pro-Russian trolls while she sees all the hatred for America on Russian social media.
