Al Jazeera is Qatar based and they hire western reporters with credentials and perfect English.
They tend to report facts and none of them are allowed to become superstar media figures with personal opinion. Now, there IS editorial opinion, but not from the reporters.

The Qatar-based Al Jazeera television network is an evil empire. It glorifies Hamas, including its “heroic” massacres of October 7 and ongoing “resistance” against Israel, and all forms of Iranian proxy terrorism against Israel. It aids Hamas by reporting on IDF troop movements in Gaza and on IDF forces concentrated along the Gaza border. It is actively drumming up Ramadan terrorism against Israelis too.

Given the news services people who we have found out were embedded with Hamas on Oct 7th (and who took the award-winning photos of Shani Louk’s body), I can’t blame Israel for kicking out potential spys from possible enemy states posing as journalists and closing their office.
Societies at war- esp. with Iran— do shut down media which transmits tactical commands embedded in videos— for example. No matter how “well spoken” the hirelings are on camera. Remember who owns al-jazeera and that it was al-gorezeera before he sold his “Current” network to them.
Agree what a free society should be able to have. But Israel is in a fight for its life— not subject to the whims of every globalist intent especially Soros and the Muslim Brotherhood, and CAIR &,& etc. They are all bilge.
If you think some media outlet is biased, don’t watch them and don’t post them.
When you want to take the next step and prevent others from hearing them, then you are rejecting freedom.
If you think they are so persuasive they can sway opinions, then that is your problem for being less persuasive. It’s not a failure on their part; it’s a failure on your part.
No, it's not. Israel is a nuclear power, with overwhelming conventional forces. Terrorists can hurt Israel, but they are not an "existential threat."

What do you think all the Media outlets here do, propagate disinformation, lies, etc., would you like to shut down CNN and MSNBC for instance? Do you want the government to embrace Tyranny and have total control of speech?

In times of war the calculus shifts.
America has lost it’s way on freedom of speech and there is a widespread attempt to control information, and codify a false narrative. That makes one sensitive to censorship. There is however a balance.
When an outfit is clearly acting for the enemy your Country is at war with and spreading propaganda to fragment the Country that outfit should not be hosted. Al Jazeera is Qatar based. They are not being silenced by Israel just dehosted in Israel. Al Jazeera enables Hamas and passes information to that organization. Would you clasp that serpent to your bosom?
The redcoats were defeated partially because they were inflexible, stood in formation and could not adapt to new tactics in warfare. Zealous insistence of total freedom of speech is a similar self wound. There are shades of grey in real life not just black & white.
Inciting for violence is not “don’t like” problem. Are you aware that at least 2 of its “journalists” were terrorists of Hamas?
