Equity does NOT equal equality.

For example, say a town has a shared apple orchard. equality says everyone has a right to pick apples from the town orchard. Equity, on the other hand would mean that if someone picked 10 apples then everyone else in the town has to get 10 apples also, even though they didn’t bother to go to the orchard and pick any apples for themselves.

Equity, also known as egalitarianism is impossible to implement in a free society. Especially a capitalist one. But it’s always a tool of the Marxist/communist left to fool the ignorant fools. It’s the bait on the hook.
