If the law was in the Constitution, I’d agree but this AG is simply being an insurrectionist. I wonder if she is enforcing Unconstitutional gun laws?

I’m this precedent for Ertogan citing a 1920’s law applied to Trump?

Are we also allowed now to select certain laws to obey?

You see how simple it is? You just don’t enforce laws you don’t agree with. Law says abortion is illegal? Ignore it. People pass a law saying marriage is only between a man and a woman (whatever that is); ignore it. Law says people wishing to enter the United States have to follow certain procedures; ignore it.

Throw her in the clinker for violating her oath of office.

then she is breaking her oath of office.

It is not up to law enforcement to decide what should be the law only to enforce the law.

I don’t agree with the law either, but would enforce it if I were elected to do so.

Seems the purpose of government these days is to not enforce the law.

"Democrat Arizona AG Says She Will Not Enforce 1864 Law Banning Most Abortions"

..... Well Skippy ..... That would be called "Dereliction of Duty" .... Too bad Republicans are such feckless, weak kneed, insipid, jelly spined, panzies. Otherwise something could actually be done about this.

She should be impeached for not upholding her oath of office.

When I am the AG of a state, I guess I will have to mull over all sorts of crimes that can go unenforced against liberals.

Murder, theft, rape—these are all just legal constructs waiting to be officially ignored.

If the Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes ignores the 1864 law for her purpose of murdering unborn children, she should be tried, convicted, sentenced, and publicly hanged for mass murder, crimes against humanity, and treason.

Mayes’ carcass should be left to rot off the noose.

Great — now Arizona Republicans can stop running for cover and start telling Arizona voters how the Democrats are trashing America.

In a non-corrupt world she would be impeached for not enforcing it.

So, the court ruling won't save a single unborn child's life but it will hurt Trump and Lake.

In other words, this is an orchestrated attempt to manipulate the 2024 election results.

This highlights a serious failing of the federal and state legislatures.

They just keep passing new laws but rarely address the aftermath and damage caused by the laws they leave on the books.

If it is a valid law it should nut be the prerogative of an AG to ignore it.

It must be undone by the legislature.

Otherwise it gives AGs the tacit approval and de-facto power to pick and choose what laws they want to enforce and what laws they want to ignore.

But it is the responsibility of AGs to enforce the law.
They do not have constitutional power to ignore or over-ride legislatures or the legally expressed will of the citizenry.

As we now see with that actually taking place in the US DOJ we can also see that it is a violation of the US constitution, destructive to the rule of law and to the nation itself.

Liberals only prosecute conservatives, if laws exist that they don’t agree with they don’t enforce them. Just like the NAZI’s in 1940’s Germany, no difference.

The laws got to apply to everyone, or they represent only Tyranny.
