In the Atlanta GA regional market (mid-TN, all of North GA, much of Alabama, SC and a bit of NC) AM 640 was bought out before the 2020 election. Went from a conservative viewpoint to all-racist democratic propaganda overnight.

A Soros-backed firm played a key role in Univision’s $60 million sale of 17 Hispanic radio stations to a company run by veterans of Democratic politics, per Semafor.

“He was the primary source of newsprint for most of the newspaper industry.”

Soros appears to have learned the lesson of Hearst by buying up news agencies. In the 1920s and 1930s, Hearst owned the biggest media conglomerate in the world, which included a number of magazines and newspapers in major cities. Hearst also began acquiring radio stations to complement his papers. Hearst saw financial challenges in the early 1920s, when he was using company funds to build Hearst Castle in San Simeon and support movie production at Cosmopolitan Productions. This eventually led to the merger of the magazine Hearst International with Cosmopolitan in 1925.

Despite some financial troubles, Hearst began extending its reach in 1921, purchasing the Detroit Times, The Boston Record, and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Hearst then added the Los Angeles Herald and Washington Herald, as well as the Oakland Post-Enquirer, the Syracuse Telegram and the Rochester Journal-American in 1922. He continued his buying spree into the mid-1920s, purchasing the Baltimore News (1923), the San Antonio Light (1924), the Albany Times Union (1924), and The Milwaukee Sentinel (1924). In 1924, Hearst entered the tabloid market in New York City with New York Daily Mirror, meant to compete with the New York Daily News.

In addition to print and radio, Hearst established Cosmopolitan Pictures in the early 1920s, distributing his films under the newly created Metro Goldwyn Mayer. In 1929, Hearst and MGM created the Hearst Metrotone newsreels.

And he used them all, plus others, up to 50 newspapers at his height, as sourses for his politican gain for himself and his friends while he ran for public offices throughout the country and the presidentcy.

Course the family was rich beyind reason for the time. At one time, rgew family owned over 50 square miles of California coastline around San Simeon. The sold the land, the artifacs and the castle in trade to the state of California for the worth to alleviate he fmily from paying California taxes. They are still using that exemption and hey still own the mineral rights to the land.

The assets of the family at this time are too big to list in this forum, so here:

Well, well aware. Five radio stations in this market and NO ONE is local.

“Who do think inspired the movie Citizen Kane?”

And it is a carbon copy of what Soros is attempting to do now. Soros got the idea from the movie, I’m sure, reasoning whoever controls the information controls the public. Even to the point of destroying Welles career. Hollywood always had a liking for Hearst and many top execs were invited to the castle to stay lavishly for weeks at a time.

Welles, after Kane, had a number of projects he wanted to make that included Don Quixote, The Deep, The Merchant of Venice, Heart Of Darkness, Santa, The Life Of Christ, Moby Dick, and Around The World In 80 Day. Shortly after Kane, all his fundung died completely up. He was shut out.

I hate to say this, but WHO LISTENS TO THE RADIO SINCE THE KING OF RADIO, AKA RUSH LIMBAUGH, HAS BEEN SILENCED???

Soros is like that idiot Master DR EVIL in the Comic version of James Bond movies. HE, George Schwartz, puts his little finger to his lips and says...”that’s what we need...more COWBELL...ER, ER, I MEANT TO SAY...MORE RADIO.

Unless I’m wrong and radio is HOT. BWAHAHAHA.

The question arises: is George Soros trying to monopolize buggy whip manufacturing in 1924 or broadcast radio in 2024? One effect his takeover will have is drastically cutting back the reach of the likes of Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, and the remaining conservative talk radio hosts. However, that will only push the conservative masses into listening to podcasts, where the alt-right dominates. They won't listen to some version of MSNBC, CNN, or NPR. More people listening to Joe Rogan, Alex Jones, or Tucker Carlson will be the end result.
