Ivy League Grads Risk Losing Prized Jobs for Allowing Antisemitic Protests to Fester: Wall Street Honchos
New York Post ^ | April 24, 2024 | Charles Gasparino

The violent, antisemitic protests at some of the nation’s elite colleges has forced top corporate recruiters to assess the quality of the education dispensed at these places — and whether they should look elsewhere for job candidates, the Post has learned.

Activist investor Daniel Loeb, a Columbia University graduate, has begun to reconsider whether to focus offering jobs at his hedge fund to fellow alums and other Ivy League schools like Harvard, Yale, Penn amid their tepid responses to the protests on their campuses, he told The Post.

“We’ve always looked beyond the target schools but we’re doing it even more so now given recent events,” Loeb told The Post on Wednesday. “We are looking for high-quality candidates but we’re going to be looking at different places.”

Broadcast the Hamas rapes and murders so they know exactly what they’re marching for.

The Left has built an incredibly divisive society in which each group seems to be against all other groups. All seek retribution for the perceived retribution sought by others.

No, no, no! What's the matter with you? Diversity is our STRENGTH! Pay no mind to each and every one of them fighting all the others.

every job applicant needs to be asked if they have ever participated in a Hamas support protest, and be immediately dismissed if they have.

I don’t feel sorry for Columbia, but I suspect that most of the protesters are not students there. Look at the rows of tents. Students don’t live in tents. I suspect it’s another Soros funded band of professional migrant protesters. Still Columbia apparently attracts them. The faculty and administration is an attractive nuisance.

Most Jewish people are truly more “pro-Palestinian” than these protestors. They want peace and prosperity for Palestinians and Israelis alike. Most of these protesters don’t give a crap about Palestinians; they just hate Israel and or the Jews. If they pulled this kind of crap in Gaza City protesting the Hamas government they would have been mowed down by Hamas’ machine guns.

My laye father-in-law, who was president of a major bank, wouldn’t hire Ivy Leaguers, and that was forty+ years ago.

I’ll guess 20%. 50% is too high, 10% is too low. Ard a fifth of the Ivy League student bodies are Jews.

Perhaps, the more salient point is when will the rest of the big brained leftist intellectuals start pulling out?

Good idea. Nobody ever lies during a job interview.

Lightening the mood, there used to be an anthology called Loeb Classics. It contained edited versions of classic literature.

Widely, they were called Low Ebb Classics.

They should have stuck with just being Anti-White and Anti-Christian.

Here is your opportunity to do some serious "agitation and propaganda" to help people understand their situation in depth. Having seen the madness at Columbia up close, it may now be time for a political realignment. Also, it may be time to fix a number of problems simultaneously.
