One effect of this business is to destroy public respect for major universities. People who were more aware stopped respecting them years ago, but now it’s inescapable.

UW-Madison students continue protest as night falls; tents set up on Library Mall
MADISON, Wis. — Hundreds of students took to Library Mall on the campus of the University of Wisconsin Monday, in protest of the Israel-Hamas war.
A group called “Students for Justice in Palestine - UW Madison” organized the event.
It defined its protest against “ongoing genocide and Zionist war crimes in Gaza, and against the new wave of student repression across the country.”
Protesters have demanded for an end to the war, as well as for UW-Madison to divest from corporations that do business in Israel.
Speaking to News 3 Now, Students for Justice in Palestine member Dahlia Saba said her group wants UW to “end its complicity in the ongoing violence.”
“I think it’s an incredibly strong statement that we have so many members of UW-Madison community both students faculty and staff out here to show that we demand that out university be accountable to us,” Saba said. “I think it’s frankly embarrassing and shameful that the university is more worried about tents on a lawn than the genocide being perpetuated against the people of Gaza.”
In case you haven’t noticed - ALL of these ‘organized protests’ are ALL following the same script. To. The. Letter.
Turn off the water and electric. No phones charging or bathrooms. And no food allowed to be delivered. See how fast they stop this idiocy. Then sue them for damages
Good point, but it is it destroying public respect as much as it is awakening people to deserved disrespect?
With we deplorables gaining access to colleges and universities starting in the 1940s and 1950s, we mistakenly thought it was for our benefit, not for the benefit of korporations or corrupt governments.
I say the opposite: give them more free stuff so that even more of them show up. If there was any institution that deserves this, it's Columbia University which has been a bastion of anti-white and anti-American hatred for a century.
What these "protestors" are doing is what Columbia University management had hoped they would do to you, me, and everyone else.
Time to send in the National Guard.
