MTG and Massie Prepare to Strike, Will Force Johnson Expulsion Vote ‘Next Week’
Breitbart ^ | 1 May 2024 | BRADLEY JAYE

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) earned the endorsement of House Democrat Leadership Tuesday. He will need to cash in on that endorsement only days later.

Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY) announced to a packed press conference outside the Capitol Wednesday that they would force a vote on Greene’s motion to vacate “next week.”

With the Capitol dome behind them, Greene and Massie accused Johnson of “three betrayals” on government funding, allowing surveillance of American citizens, and funding Ukraine without first securing the border.

The move has long been expected, but Wednesday’s escalation makes clear Johnson’s perilous path toward maintaining his gavel — if not in the short term, certainly beyond November.

“This motion is wrong for the Republican Conference, wrong for the institution, and wrong for the country,” read a short Johnson statement issued after the announcement and a day after Johnson accused Greene of not being a serious lawmaker.

After Greene filed her motion, Johnson proceeded to reauthorize the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) after casting the deciding vote to kill the warrant requirement and then folded on Ukraine funding.

“Now we have Hakeem Jeffries and the Democrats coming out, embracing Mike Johnson with a warm hug and a big wet sloppy kiss,” Greene said, arguing Democrats endorsed Johnson “because Mike Johnson is giving them everything they want. Everything. Every single thing.”

Why would they do that?

Some of have already said they would.

I assume a deal was made as the pathetic foreign aid package was being negotiated.

I couldn't care less if Jefferies takes over. Democrats won't get anything through. Jefferies as Speaker will help Republicans in the election.

The only difference will be an end to the investigations to nowhere.

They'll get to run all the committees.

So how do we stop it?

Trump obviously has to be elected again and put an AG, CIA and FBI director in place that he can trust that will reform Deep State and restore the DOJ as a politically-neutral agency.

But, it's imperative that as many Republicans as possible that refuse to represent their constituents are expelled from Congress and replaced with MAGA Republicans.

Yes.

If we can’t replace them, though - then what?

Nothing has weakened the party overall more, than the actions of the party itself. MTG and millions of conservatives have had enough of RINOS. Every year it’s “hold your nose and pull the lever.” “It’ll be the end of our Nation if we don’t vote them in again.” Enough is enough and conservatives have had enough.

If you always do what you always did, you’ll always get what you always got.

It’s always a good time to flush RINO’s.

“This motion is wrong for the Republican Conference, wrong for the institution, and wrong for the country,” read a short Johnson statement>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Johnson Caved.

The funding bill for Ukraine included over 3.6 billion dollars to ramp up the demographic invasion of America by importing 100,000 Palestinian ( Hamas) refugees.

And Johnson let that walk?

Something happened to Johnson. The left and deep state got to him, and on top of all that he made Trump look like a RINO too.

MTG is right. He has to go. I say we nominate and elect MTG as Speaker.Or even President Trump himself.

Johnson may as well be Hakim Jeffries. He has done everything Dems want, and nothing for the nation. I'd like to fire him as much as she would. We need real American leadership, and Johnson is the opposite.

But the Dems would extract a price for saving him - probably unannounced and soto voce

The only question for us now is what are we going to do about it? Get rid of Jordan, Lauderbach, Comer, and Higgins, who are digging up evidence that could actually be used to address this very, very root problem?

What good is all of the digging if nothing ever comes of it? What about Gowdy and Chaffetz and all of the hearings they had? We had some great sound bites and videos for the internet, and got to see all of Gowdy’s hair-dos, but when we gave republicans majorities in the the House, Senate, and put Trump in the Whitehouse, you didn’t see much follow up by republicans. It is a one party system, we only have the illusion of a two party, adversarial system. There needs to be a second party fighting for conservatives.

We had a hostage DOJ. That’s what the Deep State is. It’s lawless thugs who control the agencies. That is exactly what we need to get rid of. Trump is not going to be sucker-punched by them again, but we have to give him R majorities that can make the criminal referrals that justify the DOJ actually cleaning house.

We have to be smart in recognizing the root problem. We could have a brand new party that seems as conservative as can be but if it’s the same meat grinder they have to deal with, they will end up as hamburger just like all the previous people we’ve sent.

MTG is one of the few principles in the House that gives a damn about her constituents.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I reckon MTG is Vice Presidential material.

She is a fighter, and will take RINOs to the mats. And the RINOs should be treated that way. The last funding bill was a disaster.Republicans got NOTHING in that deal. And to boot they have 3.6 billion to fund “refugees” ( HAMAS) from Gaza into the USA.

KUDOS to MTG.
