Every year, I read this thread and I remember.
I will never forget.
The jedis and I took the cookies to the fire fighters down the street this morning, with a thank-you note, then I donated blood. Tonight we're going to a "Support the Troops" fundraiser.
This will never be just an ordinary day in the Jedi household again.
There is no forgetting.
Seeing those buildings fall and knowing there were people in there still, at the time I felt a cold rage in the pit of my stomach.
And I can still recall that feeling whenever I think about it.
