Didn't the French have a division in Desert Storm who faked west (the 101 AASLT Div north of them) in order to cut off any fleeing/flanking Repub Guard Divisions. My memory is that they executed that perfectly, although they complained that they wanted to be part of the main effort....to get into the battle.

The worst thing about the French is their "eating snails." I'm sure, though, that some Freeper loves snails and will flame me for running down this "cultural delicacy."

This is fun. Everybody knows that Uncle Sam is going to war, with them or without them. Those who join up now will enjoy unspecified benefits for years to come. Three days ago, France was condemning our military action and said that we should try diplomatic options first. The French flip-flop as bad as Bubba Xlinton. If they think that the enemy has the upper hand, they'll turn on us in a second. I wouldn't trust them for nothing and a military operation is a lot better off if the French stay home.
