If everyone is equal then no one deserves more than the next man in line. Right? What does deserve mean? Is everyone equal from birth? Are some created better than others? Are some born with more? Is this the difference? What is more? Is it more money? More Love? How do you quantify Love? What is it? Does it make you better? The questions of our Country.
Are these questions that can be answered? If so, why are they questions to this day? Did we create a country based on the rich getting richer? Is taking more from the rich to make someone with less better off the right thing to do? Is this fair? Thomas Sowell. Constrained vs. Unconstrained. Does the pie grow larger—Yes? Is it at the expense of other people in distant lands? I think not. Why does a diamond have value? People. Economy. Wants… Needs.
Have we been lied to? By whom? Why do we pay property taxes? Whose land is this? Free American’s… The Government’s. Are Republicans the party of the rich or the party of freedom from the powerful? Are Democrats the party of equality or theft? Is Robin Hood a noble goal? Can corporations be too powerful? Limitations would limit us. Non-regulation could turn us over to them. Who decides the happy mediums? Why?

When you stack up freedom against equality, my friend, pick freedom every time.
What party does the worlds richest man belong to? Bill Gates is a democrat. So is Johnny Allan the third richest. How about the richest investor? Buffet is a Demorat.
What about the retiring head of GE for the last decade. You guessed it, he is a Demorat.
What about the Chairman and head of Ford Motor company? William Clay Ford is a Democrat.
What about the head of American express the big shots credit card company? He is a democrat too.
What about old money? The Vanderbilt heirs are democrats too. Rockefeller in West VA is a Democrat. Of course he is only as rich as Rockefeller. What about the head of Sun Micro Systems and Oracle softare? Both of these new filty rich men are Democrats too. They did indeed love Bill Clinton.
What about the head of a big defense contractor like Boeing? You guessed it he is a Democrat two.
What about the media types, I know GE as parent of NBC is run by Democrats but surely CBS, ABC, and CNN are owned by Republicans? Afraid not. Eisener president of ABCs parent Disney Corp, is a Democrat. And Viacom which owns CBS is run by a died in the wool Democrat.
Did I mention the Washington post, the New york times, and the La Times... how about Newsweek? Democrats there too.
How about the wall street types. The heads of the big brokerage firms? Lots of democrats there too.
How about rich actors and ball players? Most of them are Democrats, too.
If you examine the party membership of the new rich, the old rich, and the middle aged rich, you will find all these categories are dominated by members of the Democratic party.
In the last election, there was much talk about Gore and soft money. Gore got far fewer number donations but his average donation was near the legal limit. Bush got a lot more donations, but for much smaller sums each. The only conclusion is Gore got money from the rich, Bush got money from the middle class.
Arn't you glad the Democratic party is not the party of the Rich? The truth is Democrats are the party of the Super Rich?
BTW, I do think I know all the answers, I get laid plenty and I'm drinking Bud.
