Dont wager any dough on this. The system is fairly corrupt in CT. I lived there for a number of years and many local governments run off of kick backs, bribes and shady dealings.

Ten years for this rapist and killer? It should be that plus 10 years for every family member who covered for him.
"As an adult, Skakel could be sentenced to 10 years to life in prison if he is convicted."

I hope that psycho ROTS in prison for the rest of his life!
I pray that the system works, and he doesn't buy his way out as many fear. Justice has made it this far though. GOOD SIGN.

Without Mark Furman there would not have been any trial, but you won't see or hear the lamestream media admit to it.

In a separate judicial procedure, Stamford Presiding Criminal Court Judge John Kavenewsky is expected to rule at a later time on a separate defense motion to dismiss the case, citing a statute of limitations on non-capital murder that was in effect at the time of the killing. If it gets dismissed over this technicality, it's outrageous.

I don't understand...They keep referring to these guys as "Kennedy's", but isn't Skakel on Ethel's side? I mean, really, fair is fair.

Don't hold your breath for a conviction though. I'm sure skakel-kennedy will follow the family tradition of avoiding murder raps.
