FEC Sued Over Alleged Hillary Campaign Fraud

It's been five months since Hollywood producer Peter Paul filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against New York Senator Hillary Clinton alleging that she failed to report most of the $2 million he donated to the "Hillary 2000" Senate campaign.

Paul has cancelled checks and other records to back up his claims, including thank you notes from the former first family. Yet the FEC has so far failed to act.

On Friday lawyers for Judicial Watch, which represents Mr. Paul in the case, filed suit against the supposed watchdog agency, pointing out that Paul's complaint is now well past the 120-day statutory deadline within which the FEC is supposed to act.

Meanwhile the Bush Justice Department has instead indicted Paul for alleged stock fraud, underscoring the double standard that continues to allow the Clinton family to escape Justice while most others are held accountable.

"The FEC has abundant evidence that Hillary Clinton and her campaign for Senate engaged in massive election fraud, yet it has not taken any action," said Judicial Watch chairman Larry Klayman. "It is time for the FEC to stop protecting politicians and hold them accountable when they violate the campaign finance laws."

The case has been assigned to Judge Royce Lamberth, who's developed a reputation over the years as one of the few judges in Washington, D.C. interested in enforcing the law for everyone.

Seems to me it's kinda hard to forget 2 million dollars.

BTW - why do we have campaign finance laws and are writing more when they are not enforced?

"We gotta let ole Hitlery know that we are WATCHING HER EVERY MOVE!!!Don't let her even Think she can get away with campaign fraud of any type!!"

There's only one problem with that. She can "get away with campaign fraud of any type" -- and she knows it.

For whatever reason, the Clintons are really and truly above the law, and they know it. They can do virtually anything they want, and they can do it with impunity, without even trying not to smirk and gloat.

It could be that those 900 FBI files gave them enough dirt so that everyone in a position of power and influence, if not themselves compromised, has someone they care about who is compromised -- or, someone in a position of power over them is compromised, and they dare not do something that would put those people at risk.

But regardless of whatever the reason is -- and we may never find out -- the fact that they are above the law is incontrovertible.

We "little people" can point out their crimes, but it has no effect. Anyone in a position to do anything about their crimes won't do anything about them. And anyone who hasn't figured that out by now is painfully naive.

You know the answer... It's the old bait and switch. Those laws (OK, all laws) are meant to be used against you and me, not against our elected royalty.
