Since we have been over liberal tree hugger universities, how about we mention the conservative ones? LSU comes to mind since I go there, LSU is a very Republican University. Other southern schools such as University of Alabama and University of Texas-Austin also come to mind. Anyone care to add?

Probably most religious universities except some of the Catholic ones. Bob Jones University, the LDS or the Seventh-day Adventist universities, etc. come to mind.

Good to see you too.
Seriously, I think Hillsdale is a fine choice for a decent education without all the claptrap adorning what passes for modern Universities.

Actually I am in Lake Charles, off for Christmas break. I doubt there is too much action down in Baton Rouge due to everyone being home for Christmas.

Abilene Christian University - balanced conservatism. Great school. Gov. Bush, J.C. Watts, etc., have spoken on that campus.

Maybe so, i guess since i figured Texas was such a Republican state and UT-Austin is where Bush sent his daughter and seems to support the University i figured it was conservative.

I guess it would be safe to say that Berkely wont make the list. :-)

The student body here at NC State is pretty conservative. The faculty tilts left but I've witnessed little indoctrination.

How about Liberty University in Lynchberg, VA (Jerry Fallwell's school)?
It seems that everyone I've notice who comes out of that school is a high quality individual.
