"We" have always embraced FOXNews, it's "our" network of choice. But Roger Ailes and Brit Hume never intended it to be a conservative voice. FAIR AND BALANCED is more than an idle motto.

Conservative ideas defeat liberal ideas any day of the week...FOXNews is the first place where both get equal time. Bring Greta on!! Conservative laywers and judges will clean her clock in fair debate, and that's the way to win converts.

I can make my comment in two letters - P U.
Somebody needs to tell Ailes to put down the crack pipe.

"Either CNN is trying to be more centrist, or FOX is trying to be more liberal. Both should stick to what they know."

Exactly right. What does Fox need with this Clintonista spokesperson????? Why doesn't Fox just go ahead and hire Steponallofus and Judy Woodruff and then I can turn off TV news entirely.

"FOX NEWS President Roger Ailes is seriously considering running Greta on FOX directly opposite CNN's LARRY KING, say sources... MORE..."

This must be CNN's way of gaining market share....because as a FOX fan, I'll watch LARRY KING before I'll ever watch Greta whatever...

Ratings = money, and Roger Ailes knows how to make it. That Van Susteren (who is, after all a lawyer) has "no loyalty" shouldn't come as a shock, even to the twits at CNN...

Question: Who are the three most revolting television commentators?

Answer: Rivera, Van Susteran, Begala.

Hey wait a minute, aren't these three all lawyers?

Well, there is an analogy here (I think). Look at it in terms of the market share bell curve of a new product. To begin with, FOXNEWS started out in a cable news market dominated by the liberal networks of CNN and MCNBC. So, to carve out their niche, they went for the opposite approach- a more conservative one. They established a loyal viewer base, attracted higher ratings, increased market share, and thus, became the number one cable news network on air.

But now, their product isn't so new anymore. Yet, to stay number one, they need to attract new viewers- viewers from competiting networks. And how do they do that? Throw in a few token liberals like Rivera and Greta. It makes them appear more 'balanced'- a term they coined to begin with. And for two liberals who love to argue, what better place than a news network with a conservative base.

Probably because Fox is in a business of attracting viewers and Greta apparently attracts viewers. Why should it matter is Fox continues to present the news in an objective fashion?

I already boycotted them when they hired jerry boy including billy o' who is too self serving for me. Kudos to him for exposing the charitable scandals, however, after he let his buddy donahue spew his garbage w/o much comment, I stopped watching him. In addition when hannity started his show with interviews with jerry, I stopped watching him.
Be careful of engaging in the "cult of personality" as that is how dictators are made.

Just remember, when someone wants to get into your good graces, they will tell you what you want to hear.
