You don't really think anyone's going to read all of that do you?

Anybody know if Bill and Hillary knew these people?
To: Constitution Scholar
This is a big story. It came to me in the form of an e-mail:Yep, the most reliable and rumor-free news source.
You might have even scooped Debka.
To: Constitution Scholar
wasnt this an episode of the avengers with Steed and Mrs. Peel?

Only a speed reader with the patience of Job could read it all. What I did read though, sounds scary, to say the least.
To: isom35
Actually it's the plot to the new James Bond movie "GoldenBug"
Seriously, the news reports, when you dig into them or do a little google searches of the researchers (you need a little more biology background than the Washington Post) shows that their areas of research are very esoteric and not as scary as they first sound. And call me if there is a Ebola outbreak somewhere other than central Africa - otherwise it really isn't even tinfiol news.

I read most of it...but then I'm a speed reader.
A time line graphic with pop-ups would be helpful.

I read the post and appreciate the time and effort you put in. It certainly is food for thought. I tend to believe that in any month's time, it's reasonable that 5 or so leaders in ANY profession across the world will die, perhaps even under unusual circumstances. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Only time will tell if these "coincidences" keep occuring.

All of that and it's all worthless irrelevancy.
Why? Because the author didn't bother to examine the number of violent deaths or accidents for doctors and biologists in 2000, or 1999, or 1998.
Without knowing that, it's impossible to say whether there is anything remotely unusual occuring recently at all. But, of course, conspiracy nuts don't bother with baseline reseach because it isn't exciting and fun...and it's a LOT of work.
And it's their responsibility to do it..it's their wacky theories. If it's easier to do (like data on air crashes, etc.) I'll do it from time to time.
Also, as an aside, "Nguyen" is an insanely common Vietnamese name. Means as much as if the researcher and the NY woman were both named "Smith."

Maybe you could put your asides in a different font.
I read most of it, but you started to lose me with the Starbucks thing. What's the connection there when your concluding paragraphs only allude to the five recent deaths?

Unfortunately, people die. Nguyen is about as common a Vietnamese name as Smith is here.

Decapitation of key scientists would be a text book approach to effecting a major attack on the West.
To: LiberteeBell
Indeed. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks, I feel much better-we have nothing to fear but the the un-researched fear mongering of the lazy posters themselves.
To: F.J. Mitchell
Nguyen is comparable to Smith or Jones....it is a very common asian name.

I have no argument with Nyguen being a very common name among Aisians-you must have responded to the wrong party.
