Let him try. One less person to worry about running for Governor this year. The voters of Wisconsin might be split Rep/Dem, but there's a big majority on gun issues.

By the way, where the hell did the idea for this bill come from??

Speaking out for the "hunters" is right, of course. But it strikes me as just beating around the bush to avoid the real issue...

The Second Amendment was not intended to protect the rights of hunters and sportsmen, but to guarantee Citizens the means to protect their freedoms against government tyranny. We cannot assume that everyone understands this anymore; we must begin to speak plainly...

This is perhaps the most overt act of treason against the United States and the Constitution as I have ever seen.

And it should be dealt with as such.

The 2nd amendment no more exists to protect hunting than the 1st exists to protect playing Scrabble.

Doyle has been a moron and dolt since his Dane County District Attorney days, but he's outdone himself this time.

I don't care if this proposal vaporizes overnight, it should be mentioned up to and including election day and kept in the minds of citizens of Wisconsin who believe in the Constitution and the Second Amendment in particular.

We have to keep this socialist from becoming governor!

Your state Senator is nuts. Your state is so large and spread out it would be hard for law enforcement to protect. A terrorist attack would overtax most suburban police forces and leave the rest of the community unprotected and on their own. The 9/11 attack in NYC tied up 1/3 of its police force and emergency assets. I come from a built up state of New Jersey. Our largest suburban township is 16 square miles, population 36,000 but only 100 man police force. About half are staff and admin, leaving only 50 for line duties. They operate in 3 shifts plus one swing shift to cover shift changes. Approximately 12 officers are available during on patrol and represents the immediate reaction force. It doesn't take a genius to figure our that it doesn't take much for terrorists to overtax them. THE CONSTITUTION MAY HAVE ARMED THE CITIZEN TO CHECK GOVERNMENT AGAINST TYRANNY, BUT THE CONSTITUTION ALSO ARMED THE CITIZEN SO THEY CAN HELP GOVERNMENT IN A TIME OF NEED. WE the gunowners need to remind the politicians of that point. We are not an obstacle to law and order, we are an asset.

Truer words were never written. I commend you for being so succinct.

Doyle is a dolt. He will need to be constantly reminded of this proposal right up to election day. How he thinks this is going to gain him votes over Tom Barrett is beyond me.
