I have always loved slapstick comedians. When we were kids, around 15 or 16, we used to go to the old TROC Theater in Philly and lie about our age to gain entrance.
The shows we saw, for the most part, would get a "G" rating today. The most popular comedian was Billy (Cheeze and Crackers) Hagan, who instead of cursing would say "Cheeze and Crackers." He goes down as my all-time favorite stand-up comedian.
Most of these did not use foul language. Among my other favorites, not necessarily in order, are: Bob Hope
Jonathan Winters
Red Skelton
Red Buttons
Bill Cosby
Flip Wilson
Bob Newhart
Jack Benny
George Burns
Jackie Gleason
Feel free to add or disagree. I just will not pay any attention to those who disagree.

Phil Hartman. I'm still saddened by his absence.

Hey! You forgot Laurel and Hardy! Maybe not standups, but the Grand Piano episode is the first memory I have of laughing at a movie til I peed my pants....

Though not stand up, the old 'Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts' were/are pretty dang funny.

Slapstick? I guess it's a toss up between Tim Conway and Gerry Ford.

One caveat: Cosby has worked blue before, back in the day, yo. A very hard-to-find album of his, 1969's 8:15/12:15, contains some priceless references to his and his wife's accidental pregnancy thanks to the failure of the "midnight trampoline."
Not that there's anything wrong with blue humor, or with midnight trampolines.
I like Jello. (And before y'all start, I like cheese too.)

Laurel and Hardy. I remember one scene where a little kid kicked a football and it hit Ollie square in the face as he got to the top of a beautiful circular staircase, knocking him backwards down the steps. Now that was funny!
