Air and Thought
All day I dreamed I'd rather be someplace
The air is still and quiet. Some tranquil scene,
Some peaceful seat, where I might savor grace--
How likely that my heart would be serene?
I'd know her laughing footfalls coming there
And I would feel her shadow's cool caress,
Then I would smell the darkness of her hair.
Ahh
Now I hear the rustle of her dress
She sits, and with each breath, each word, I take
In from her lips, I share her air and thought.
My eyes sip sunlight splashing her, and slake,
For now, a thirst in me
unquenched
unsought.
Intentions blush; our timid joys are met.
Though I am touched, shall I touch her? Not yet.

Keep us suffering!
BTW, lose your inhibitions, touch....

Wow! I love your poems, Saber. You're really good!
Thanks, but I reallywant to be brooding and mysterious.
You think a tattoo would help?
To: Sabertooth
I dunno how I merited this flag...
Don't know
quite what to say; beyond the obvious.
Which all the
single & available female Freepers already know.
Hmmmm...
Got it!
WHEN CAPTAIN AMERICA THROWS HIS MIGHTY SHIELD!
ALL THOSE WHO CHOSE TO OPPOSE HIS SHIELD MUST YIELD!!
WHEN HE'S LED TO A FIGHT,
AND A DUEL IS DUE,
THAN THE RED & THE WHITE & THE BLUE COME THROUGH!
WHEN CAPTAIN AMERICA THROWS HIS MIGHTY SHEEEEEILD!
...there; glad I got that off my chest. {g}

Tuesday is a dream she reminds me of my secretary. On another note, did you happen to see Rumsfeld's War College Speech today? I just caught the last part of a reference to using troops on the border, if I understood his response correctly he seemed to be somewhat inclined to do so.

Hmmmm...Uh-oh... What's the count on those that know I'm pathetic and desperate?

That is one of the most beautiful songs ever written, and I've known it since I was five.
That deserves an appearance from Cap himself....

If the Capt happened to be in Chicagoland?
His
shield would make an
excellent saucer for goin' down the snow covered hills.
The song was inspired by & courtesy of your profile page.
BTW young man, there's really only
one gal you oughta be reading that stuff to, y'know.
She's the prettiest one on the forum
by-far; & I *think* she's
single, too.
...if I were your age, she'd be the apple of my eye, alright. ;^)

A freeping young man named Sabertooth,
Got sat next to by a comely young girl youth.
Her dress gently rustled,
Her perfume whispered, "Tussle!"
But his shyness made saber and tooth moot!

Her hair cascades on the pillow
Like a soft silken meadow
My fingers can run barefoot through That's dynamite. Flag me anytime you post stuff..

Thanks for sharing, CC :)
