Oh cut it out. "breeding" and "class" my foot!! The royal worship around here is getting sickening. These royal people are arrogant, inbred, bloodsuckers. Which one of them has ever worked a day in their life?

Thank God I am a citizen, not a subject. I don't bow to anyone.

It is not 'royal worship' to point out how the Queen Mum courageously stood up against the Nazis.

That's right, you are not a British citizen, but can't you have the decency to show sympathy to people who are? And if you bow to no one I assume you are an atheist.

Our present Queen worked as an ambulance mechanic in World War II. Prince Andrew and Prince Charles were both in the Royal Navy. Andrew served in the Falklands War on a ship that got blown up no less. The Queen Mum was part of the relief efforts during the Second World War. There is also the factor of leadership. Having a good King and Queen can do wonders for your morale in desperate times.

But go on then, it's easier for you to spout off in ignorance and bile than to reflect carefully, obviously. Read, learn, then come back and apologise.

PS - we have been British "citizens" for quite some time now - it says "British citizen" in my passport.

Non serviam,huh?

"Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king."

1 St. Peter 2:13

Pride is a deadly sin -- the deadliest. Non serviam is Lucifer's motto, not Christ's; humility and service to all were His principles. As St. Peter makes clear, free men = servants of God.
When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them. "You call me `Teacher' and `Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

St. John 13:12-17

God Himself bowed down and washed the filthy feet of a roomful of peasant fishermen. Who are you to remain standing?

"Pride is the excessive love of one's own excellence. It is ordinarily accounted one of the seven capital sins. St. Thomas, however, endorsing the appreciation of St. Gregory, considers it the queen of all vices, and puts vainglory in its place as one of the deadly sins. In giving it this pre-eminence he takes it in a most formal and complete signification. He understands it to be that frame of mind in which a man, through the love of his own worth, aims to withdraw himself from subjection to Almighty God, and sets at naught the commands of superiors." -- The Catholic Encyclopedia
