Have you wondered how much the government spends, and on what?
In particular, have you wondered whether it's really supposed to spend that much, ad on those things?
The history of government spending is interesting, to say the least. Would you believe that the government now spends nearly $7,000 per year for every man, woman, and child in the country? That's YOUR money it's taking away. And, nearly 3/4 of it is spent on programs the Fed is forbidden to run, by the Constitution itself.
For a summary, have a look at:
An overall picture of Federal spending;
and a discussion of the Welfare Clause that's being abused to make it possible.
Enjoy!

The Constitution isn't perfect - but it's better than the system we're using now!
Got to admit, I like it too.
