Bush-Hating Ann Richards Booed
Ann Richards was obviously born with a tin foot in her mouth. Like other Democrats lately, she thinks the coast is clear to assail President Bush, but then gets a most unexpected response.
Richards, "who was governor of Texas until George W. Bush beat her, drew boos when she attacked her nemesis Monday night at the Drama League gala at the Pierre Hotel," the New York Post reported today.
"They don't know how to count votes in Florida," Richards said - a curious statement, because it was the Democrat-dominated counties that couldn't count votes and had Gore fanatics claiming they were too stupid to vote.
"Enron is running the Bush administration's energy policy," she said - a curious statement, because the Washington Times yesterday reported how Enron ran the Clinton administration's energy policy.
When people jeered Richards' partisan attacks, she said to Clinton-loving honoree Liz Smith, "I didn't know you had so many Republican friends."

It wasn't your fault she was govenor...it was that stupid Clayton Williams who refused to just shake her hand...
Although I remember during that election Nolan Ryan would have won in a three way race between Clayton, Ann and Nolan, according to a poll conducted by the Dallas morning paper.. :-)

I sure would like to know what ever became of Texas' Harley. She couldn't accept it as a personal gift, so she accepted it on behalf of Texas.
I haven't seen photos of Bush or Perry with the motorcycle, is it still property of Texas or was it stolen/given away?

LOL! "Ma" Richards ranks among the
worst Governors the State of Texas has ever had! On her watch Texas has a revolving-door Prison System, and a
very high rate of violent crime! Ma Richards refused to let the people of Texas vote on Concealed Carry, because she was afraid of what all of us "amateur gunslingers" would do.
If anybody deserves to be booed it's Ma Richards!
