An Eagle Scout who was mistaken for a bank robber and shot in the face by an FBI agent in Pasadena on Friday remained in serious but stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center last night.

Joseph Charles Schultz, 20, was shot at close range about 6 p.m. Friday when FBI agents searching for a bank robbery suspect pulled over his girlfriend's car.

Schultz, who lives in the 7900 block of Seabreeze Drive in Orchard Beach in Anne Arundel County and works with fiber optics for a local medical company, has no connection to the bank robbery, officials said.

It's pretty hard to feel good when you're looking at your boyfriend with half of his face shot away.

We still have yet to hear why the FBI-guy who committed this crime did what he did. We will probably never truly know.

And trigger-happy goons like the FLEA who did this are the people we're supposed to trust with firearms? Not in a million years.

I'm surprised the FBI let them live. After a screw-up of this magnitude, their usual M.O. seems to be ensuring that only their side of the story survives.

And the shooter will NEVER face any consequences for his reckless endangerment, his attempted manslaughter, or his unlawfully discharging a weapon.

It is disgusting they will not release the name of the shooter. The people who live around the shooter should be allowed to make up their own minds about him.

"It's an ongoing investigation, and under most circumstances we do not give out too much information," Maddox said.
Translation: we need to get our stories straight.

Already posted here . Posts indicated that some FBI agents put their finger on the trigger in any circumstance which could lead to accidents like this.

The more we learn the more clear it becomes that the agent who shot this young man should be facing criminal prosecution. With the facts currently available to the public he should already have been charged or some exculpatory information should have been made public.

From article: FBI spokesman Barry Maddox said agency policy prevented the immediate release of the name of the agent who shot Schultz

Your comment: And the shooter will NEVER face any consequences for his reckless endangerment...

Kinda remind you of a particular FBI agent who was at Ruby Ridge and killed a defenseless woman holding her baby daughter?
