Windshield death suspect back in jail - Bail raised
to $250,000 - Informant Receives Death Threats

Excerpt:

FORT WORTH - A woman accused of hitting a man with her car and leaving him to die, entangled in her windshield, returned to jail Friday when a judge raised her bail from $10,000 to $250,000.

Chante J. Mallard, 25, was booked into the Tarrant County Jail on Friday afternoon on a murder charge the third time she has been incarcerated in 10 days in connection with the October death of Gregory G. Biggs, 37.

Even if the bail is met, Ms. Mallard will spend the weekend in jail. Probation officers in charge of monitoring bond conditions cannot pick her up until Monday morning, said Lt. Mack West, jail supervisor.

Her bond conditions, which 371st District Judge James Wilson set during a hearing, include being under house arrest at her parents' Fort Worth home, wearing an electronic monitor, no driving, no alcohol use, and drug testing three times a week.

In the WFAA Video link, the informant says her identity was supposed to remain secret.
She claims she has received death threats now. . .

WHAT? The good judge did not add "no sex with her boyfriend[s]", to the bond conditions? I'm outraged!!!

I think this no good bi-itch should have her bail bond set at $1,000,000 minimun!
"Please, let me pull the switch, please?"

Good link on the video. My gut question is, Why doesn't she simply name the people she is aware are involved and stipulate some may or may not be directly guilty, but they were all associated with the crime?

Seems like such an act would make her quite a bit more safe than pointing fingers at the police. Perhaps also in cases such as this, if she attempts to seek monetary damages from the police, limit the revenues to the police dept from the same community from which she came. Let the account balance itself out. Local populous is accountable for financially responding to the local crime. Don't let a small police department or city government become the 'deep pocket' for a gang to get rich based upon contrived arguments.

If her clique of friends wants to encourage her to conceal the crime, or to redefine the act as manslaughter, judge her not guilty and conceal the act from all others, then force that group of people to bear the consequences of their actions.

Now here lies a fundamental cultural issue between many blacks and whites, and to a large extent between criminals and law abiding citizenry of the US. It involves being presumed innocent until being proved guilty.

The next question "Who is involved in the conspiracy?" might get answered from the top down by labeling a larger group as being accused. Those who are innocent will display significantly different behavior than the guilty to those who righteously discern. However, this tactic also places a smaller group of innocent people on the defensive and presumes guilt.

The alternative, to prove the guilt of all involved results in the type of culture we are witnessing. Smaller gangs believe they are able to render righteous action in their eyes, do not believe they need be held accountable to any higher social authority, and conspire to conceal their actions obviously criminal to higher authority or to outside groups, and then consider any exposure of their behavior as a breach of confidence, faith, and goodwill for their involvement.

I wonder if it will be possible to determine who made the death threats to the informant. I wonder what it will be possible to do to Chante Mallard if the informant dies or is intimidated into toning down her testimony. I wonder if Mallard's brother in the fire department is one of those who moved the dead man's body.

Mallard, no relation to Duck,
Hit a man who was down on his luck,
Friends say with a sigh,
She's a tad traumatized,
But not a bad girl-- What the f#$@?

I am just waiting for the NAACP to weigh in defense of Chante J. Mallard who is obviously the victim of some VWHC. (Vast White Hate Conspiracy.)

If she couldn’t remove the body...who did?

You know it may seem lik tabloid stuff but in my opioniion there is a political side to this: leftist position that an individual isn't really responsible for hiis actions. Look for the left to supply:
Excuses
Cover.

This whole story is stranger than fiction! It is just so incomprehensible, especially from a nurse.
