Well, that will certainly improve things.

Probably not. But what will? The Republican Party is becoming indistinguishable from the Democratic Party. Do we keep just voting for the "R's" each time because that's what we've always done, and what our parents have always done? At what point do we stop supporting these people?

LOL! Bullseye.

Count me in, too. I've always wanted to be part of the 00.5%!

Well, that will certainly improve things.Maybe a swift kick in the head is what America really needs. Maybe things do need to get worse politically before things will get better. I agree with this guy, the fedgov is selling us out. We have been betrayed.
We are suppose to be a nation of laws, and a sovereign nation.
I honestly believe that if President Bush wanted all the millions of illegals deported or was totally against this insane amnesty, almost every single Bush supporter on this great forum would agree with him.
In my opinion, something is very wrong with this picture.

To Jim and All: I am not overly happy about this myself, but my mind says there has to be some real reason....so I have thought about this all day, and you know what I got to thinking? Remember when the NYPD told all the crooks they had won tickets to the lottery and finally got them all in a room, well maybe that is what this is all about! If this is "loose lips" it won't offend me if you pull my post, but there has to be more to this than the Hispanic vote, that to me is suicide politically, what about the rest of us?
To: Jim Robinson
does this mean we can get Eric Holder for AG?

I'm sorry Jim, you're truly one of my favorite people on this earth, but your "they're all we have so let's be pragmatic" postion kind of pisses me off sometimes. We've all (including myself) played that game for years and all it's gotten us is devolution and betrayal.
They all need a big fat foot in their asses.

Do we keep on riding this pony thats going in the wrong direction? If our party was responsive to the will of its members, GW would never dream of offering to make legal those who spit on our laws.
I don't want to vote 3rd party, but what with the wimps in Congress running from our common values, and GW ignoring them, what alternative do we have?
By the time the GOP wakes up, the New World Order will be fully in place.
Is that what I want for America? No way.

Don't panic at the thought of Hillary or Daschle being elected president. It may in fact be a good thing. Imagine the consent of the governed being withdrawn en masse. Imagine the Republic Texas exercising its option to redeclare its independence. Imagine other states following suit and restoring that voluntary union of independent states. Imagine all the sleeping patriots being shaken from complacency and rising up to water that tree of liberty and remove ALL tyrants in high places.
You can vote for leaders that you can only hope will merely slow the loss of liberty, and hope they keep their promises. But if you can't just sit and wait for the empire to suffer a slow, painful death, you might just have to swallow a bitter pill. You generally have to hit rock bottom before you find the motivation to turn things around.

Jim, I love your forum. I hate to see it turn into something that helps Al Gore win in 2004. But the true believers have spoken. Some have even decided to punish all Republicans and not vote at all this year and in '04. I can't tell you how much this sickens me. I'm sure the DU lurkers have already posted this crap on their board and are enjoying their "aid and comfort."
To: Jim Robinson
I understand your point.....I voted for Mr Bush....But I can't see the point in continuing to vote for people who do not display true patriot qualities......A love for what made America great to begin with.....Separate and apart from other cultures in the world......It is very disturbing to hear foreign lanquages spoken here (Florida) everywhere you go.....And these type of actions from conservatives leave me scratching my head knowing I will never experience the America I grew up in again......
