I like her (Mrs. T), I love him (Mr. T), but I disagree already, in the first paragraph:

It's just Washington

Wrong, Mrs. Thomas.

It's just the ISSUELESS, CLUELESS, UNPRINCIPLED DEMOCRATS

A tragically true column. That formerly liberal woman who had lied about Clarence Thomas and now regretted it should come forward and relate what prompted her actions when she was in the belly of the liberal beast.

Take comfort in seeing how those who know you best are coming to your defense -- white and black alike. No matter how today's vote turns out, thank you for offering yourself to the nation's service.

And ignore the left-wing, brainwashed writers like Albert R. Hunt, who in today's WSJ says, basically, that it is all right to ruin a man's reputation--that it is part of politics and that everybody does it. WSJ ought to fire that daschelbag and send him to the New York Times. He would be a perfect fit there.

Mrs. Thomas is a class act. I can't imagine how awful it must have been for her to see here husband unfairly vilified.

Thanks for the post.

I understand Carl Levin has two judges he wants on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. I suggest we bork both of the "out-of-the-mainstream" judges, no matter what happens with Pickering. Time for the Dems to learn this will have a price.

Who's up for it?

"But in the 14 years of my interracial marriage, I've found many more people on the left
exercised over my union (and others like it) than on the right.

I sense that this is what black liberals - particularly women - are leaving unsaid.

This means we must begin winning over voters in the mushy middle and winning over fringe party voters on the right. I did not see a single Libertarian Party, Constitution Party, Natural Law Party, or Taxpayer Party member vote for Judge Pickering today. I did see nine Republicans vote for him and ten Democrats vote against him.

I just happened on this from a link on a thread running today. Mrs. Thomas's letter breaks my heart. My disrespect for the democrats on the judiciary committee knows no bounds. It actually hurts the heart to think those monsters would be willing to crush a good man for the sake of ideology, for the benefit of the special interests groups who feed these lowly, snake-like men and women their daily vermin.
