A French Hotel Declines To Host Israelis

JERUSALEM, March 15 (IslamOnline & News Agencies) - A French hotel refused to receive Israeli guests, protesting the massacres perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian people, an Israeli newspaper reported Friday.

Yadiot Aharonot, in its online edition, said that an Israeli couple, Shay and Davna Lang, living in Tel Aviv, wished to go to France. They used the Internet to look for a small hotel at the Froubance area, in Paris, and they found a suitable hotel called "Bistayd De La Fab".

"To the Langs surprise, they were told the hotel boycotted Israel and they were not welcome," the paper added.

When contacted by the paper, the hotel owner, Sisiel Mouzwa said, "this is the only way we can express our rejection of the Israeli policies. We refuse Sharon's methods and policies, but we have nothing against the Jews".

"We used to host Israelis before the second Intifada (Palestinian uprising against Israeli occupation that erupted September, 2000), there was no problem. But now we do not want to host them, it will not help any one here," Mouzwa added.

According to her, the hotel guests usually have dinner together. "The presence of Israelis may stir troubles," she explained adding, "What is happening there is very saddening. We hope you can reach peace soon".

Mouzwa went on to say that other neighboring hotels avoid receiving Israelis under various pretexts. "They claim having no vacant rooms, for example. However, we opt for the truth. An Israeli coming to us may be against Sharon's policies, but this is the only way we have to protest the Israeli policies. We used the same way with South Africans several years ago," she concluded.

You wretch, I did a quick search under "French Surrenders" and got swamped with historical French losses. I did find out this, though: A tunnel connecting France to Britain beneath the English Channel has been opened in recent years to make it easier for the Government to flee to London.

Would not be heading for France under the BEST of conditions. They don't like anyone, including Americans. They do like our money though, and for that reason alone, I wouldn't give them a red cent, let alone my valuable time. There are other tings I'd rather do and places I'd rather go...like the Grand Canyon. Beats the hell out of walking down the same street where Hitler was welcomed into France with cheers.

Come on guys, don't be too hard on the Frenchies. The hotel owner is an A-rab. Poor France; it's loaded with such trash.

You left out a word from the original: "occupied." The dateline is, "Occupied Jerusalem."

I'd say Mouzwa is N. African Islamic name. But I do hope the French take some action!

Knowing the French, they might give him the Croix de Guerre, or the Croissant de l'Or, or something.

"Bistayd De La Fab".

I'm not all that good at French. Is "Bistayd" spelled right? I'm thinking of another "B" word.

I am not decided on whether the French are sympathetic or fearful of the Arabs. Not that either of these is a redeeming quality.

"plus ca change, plus c'est le meme chose." the more things change, the more they stay the same.

I am convinced that the palestinian "cause" has breathed new life into the antisemetic ghosts of yore.

Fearful, to be sure. Even at the Sorbonne, they're fearful, in spite of the solidarity speeches.

Without a doubt. Buchanan brigadists twist themselves out of shape, defending Western Civilization AND expressing sympathy to genocidal "Palestinians." It's almost funny. And then, at the allegedly libertarian end of the spectrum, you get Lew Rockwell publishing, and the likes of Justin Raimondo writing anti-Semitic -- oh, I'm sorry, "anti-Zionist" -- screeds by the bushel.

Apparently it should read "Occupied France" as well.

Do they use the same policy with South Africans today? Or Zimbabwe today (considering what is being done to whites there)? Of course not, that would be racist.

I just read your profile page. I was truly touched to see such love from a Dutchman for America.

I took a tour of Europe a couple of years ago, the Dutch were probably the nicest people I met during my visit (the French were the worst). The only thing I couldn't understand is why they dislike the Germans so much. I'm an American of many generations but I'm of German descent. During WWII my great-grandfather changed our last name from a German one to a Dutch one because of bigotry. When I was in Holland many of the natives figured that I was of Dutch descent because of my last name, when I told them that I was German it seemed to turn many people off. One Dutchman explained to us that it was because of WWII...
