Is anyone else watching this?
She claimed that she is not a gun grabber. This woman is out of her freaking mind.
I feel sympathy for her husband, but none for her and her lung cancer.

Today's NRA-ILA Fax Alert has an interesting story...Sarah Brady bought a rifle for her 18-year-old son in Delaware without informing the clerk that it was a gift for him. Of course, the clerk didn't do a background check (on the 'child') and it looks like several Delaware gun-control laws were broken.
James Jay Baker of the NRA-ILA said that he hopes this was just an innocuous mistake and he really doesn't think Mrs. Brady intentionally made a straw purchase...
Yeah, right!

The problem with her buying the gun in a straw-man purchase is not that she bought it. It is not that she is a hypocrite. I welcome her to the world of owning a gun.
She got it right when she said she was just an honest citizen purchasing a gun and that she is not a gun-grabber. OK, I'll buy that.
The problem is that she broke the law in exercising that right as an honest citizen. She, and her ilk, have perpetuated so many frigging gun laws that simply acquiring or even possessing a firearm is so frought with danger that an honest person can easily fall into breaking the law. An unscrupulous prosecutor can then send you away to prison for 20 years when you had no malice in mind when purchasing the weapon.
In fact, I've always thought that that was the intention. Have so many gunn laws out there that any gun owner can at any time be found guilty of some arcane law or another if you cross the powers that be for some reason. Get into an argument with an LEO; oops is that CCW really concealed? Off to jail you go. Let your dog poop on the Sheriff's lawn; hey, is your C&R collection in violation of local zoning regulations? Put up a sign in your yard opposing the election of the current county judge; look at that, the barrel of your AR-15 is a half inch too short. Kiss the kids good-bye, Daddy's off for 10-to-20.

She did a "straw purchase" of a 30-06. My goodness it's a sniper's rifle. It's got a scope! It could shoot down a helicopter. It might be used against the family. I can't watch her, I just had dinner. What a piece of work she is...
