To: Government of the United States of America
WE, the undersigned have freely set our hand to this petition on the date stated to demand that the government and officials of the United States of America return Lt. Cmdr. Michael Speicher from the country of Iraq where his is possibly being held as a POW/MIA.
THEREFORE, we understand that certain intelligence agencies of the United States has received information that Lt. Cmdr. Speicher is alive and being held captive by foreign officials.
FURTHERMORE, we demand that every resource and tactic, that may be deemed necessary and relative, be implemented and enforced until Lt. Cmdr. Speicher is returned to the United States, be it alive or deceased.
FURTHER RESOLVED, we expect that the officials and government of our country will not tire, will not falter and will not fail in returning Lt. Cmdr. Speicher to the United States of America, where he belongs.
Sincerely,
There are some great comments by the signatures.

Subject: Please make one phone call for my uncle!
This e-mail is to ask for your help regarding my uncle, Navy Lieutenant Commander Michael Scott Speicher.
Scott was shot down over Iraq while serving our country on January 17, 1991. Soon thereafter Scott was listed as KIA (Killed In Action) by the U.S. Government. Over the following ten years enough evidence was gathered, including the recovery of Scott's intact plane and flight suit in the Iraqi desert, that the U.S. Government changed Scott's status from KIA to MIA (Missing in Action) in January 2001.
Recently, compelling new evidence has come from Dutch and British intelligence services suggesting that Scott did, in fact, eject safely from his plane and is today being held by the Iraqis as a Prisoner of War. Yet Washington politics has still prevented our government from doing everything possible on Scott's behalf.
Senator Pat Roberts of Kansas is leading the charge to help Scott, but we need your help also. The National Alliance of Families has declared the next seven days as "Bring Scott Speicher Home Week".
I am asking each one of you to please call the White House message line at 202-456-1414 and demand that POW/MIA Michael Scott Speicher be brought home. Just a brief phone call.
Before you delete this e-mail please ask yourself whether a few minutes of your time in making this call is more valuable than Scott's service to his country over the last eleven years, and that of his wife and children, now ages 12 and 14.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Mary

Subject: Good news and bad news!!
Hi everyone!!
This is Nikki!
Sorry that it took me so long to get this out to you, but we just got a new computer and we're still trying to figure everything out and set everything up! We lost our email twice on the old one, and we trying to recover them all, hang in there with me!!
I wanted to let you know that I'm going to be on POW/MIA Freedom Radio tomorrow night (Sunday) at 7:00 p.m. (that's my time here in Pittsburgh) and I've got lots to talk about!! You can listen over the Internet (make sure you have real audio) America Freedom Network All you have to do is click on "Listen with Real Audio" and you can even call in to talk to me!!
The toll free number is 1-800-606-5462 and I hope you will listen if you get a chance!
Now, the bad news, Lt. Cmdr. Michael Speicher is still waiting and the petition to bring him home only has 1525 signatures on it. At this rate, to reach one million signatures it will take 10.5 more years and I don't think that Lt. Cmdr. Speicher deserves to wait another 11 years to come home!!
WE MUST DO THIS NOW, it's not even in the media anymore which means that the issue is dying again!! Please do whatever you can to spread the word about this petition and please ask everyone that you know to sign it!! Over the past three years I have been involved with so many of you, but yet I haven't seen your signature on the petition!!! Some of you might think that I am just a kid and that others can do better than I can, and that might be true, but I still care and I know that I can make a difference!! This is part of an email that I received today, from a very good friend of Lt. Cmdr. Speicher's:
"Nikki,
Thank you for the opportunity to sign your petition. We were Scott's old "runnin' buddies" as kids. He was on our swim team and we have MANY stories and memories of Scott.
Yes, he has the GREATEST sense of humor; strong enough to pull him thru WE KNOW. We've missed him since 1972 and were horrified to hear the front page news in '91 and all info. since.
I have a video tape of our local news station's report from the front yard of the house he grew up in with a few friends on camera and the memorial service given his memory in 1991."
We have the chance to help his friends and his family and I will do everything I can to bring Lt. Cmdr. Speicher back to the USA where he belongs!! If you sit back and do nothing, the only future that Lt. Cmdr. Speicher has is to once again be listed as Killed In Action. Here is the link to the petition, please sign it if you haven't already and please send it out to your lists again if you have to: http://www.petitiononline.com/Speicher/petition.html
I've also heard that calls were being made to the White House comment line, if you can, please make the call, the number is 1-202-456-1111, demand that Lt. Cmdr. Michael S. Speicher be brought home now!! Thanks, hope you listen to the show tomorrow!!
