I still think FR should either ditch the flag jpeg, which is 11.2 KBs x your screen resolution, or go back and trim some code. Might increase page load time and stop a lot of griping.

That would be a good start.

I'd also like to see the Reply Window made bigger and the "Post Reply" button moved a quarter inch away from the scroll arrow. Ever accidentally post when you meant to scroll?

You and I seldom agree..but we do on this..FR is work now..not an easy fun forum..BTW I have an Apple G3 with a cable hook up,and this crawls..I am old it hurts my eyes......I can not even imagine how it must be on Web..

I hate this a lot because I use the sidebars to be sure I get kept up to date on what's going on in the world and i use the search function on certain names whose interests parallel mine--interests that aren't necessarily hitting world/national headlines.

Unfortunately, I have extremely limited time to spend on line for the last several weeks and several more to come. This is just too hard and time consuming to use. Fortunately, it will make it easier for me to stick to my work commitment. 8^) I really hope that you bring back the sidebars and especially the search function.Thanks for all you do (except for this latest thingie;-).

No, there's a "Log Off" link at the bottom of the left column.

Try it and you'll see that you have to wipe your cookie to log out.

I have a WebTV, and it has been loading a lot slower the past few weeks ... could this be the reason? The changes in the works have made loading much slower lately? I just thought it was this ole contraption!
