You shoulda been practicing with the Beta version all last week

Like we have time for that. That was the purpose of using the "breaking News" side bars.

So I subscribed to the "Breaking News" sidebar, only to find that the sidebar displays only 5 articles at a time.

The bottom line is that this change has significantly reduced the usefulness of this website.

Nobody asked for this change, so why was it done?

Oh, I didn't say that. That was just my response to Happygal's post #11.

I tried the beta version, didn't like it, and hoped the change would never happen.

I was actually surfing FR when it did. In a minute it went from the old version to the new and my world was disrupted! :-)
