[history]
ALEC Baldwin might be a bloviator, but a wife beater? The National Enquirer claims in a front-page story that the actor used to hit his spouse Kim Basinger. The couple's divorce was granted in February, but they still haven't worked out the financial settlement. "She's worried about his stability," one "close friend" is quoted in the weekly. "She claims he hit her more than once." According to the Enquirer, Kim arrived with a new bodyguard at a recital at their daughter Ireland's California school, and sat as far away as possible from Baldwin. Several calls to Baldwin's rep yesterday were not returned.

Alec Baldwin is an overweight, has-been-B-rate actor. Since he can't smack Kim around anymore, he's sublimating his violent control-freak tendencies by becoming a full-time Dumbocrat "activist" (LOL).
I hope Kim and her bodyguard pack some serious heat in case this pathetic slob decides to come after her.
As a side note, I can see Alec ending up like "has-been-used-to-be-hunky" Marlon Brando--350 pounds and wearing women's dresses.....

Has Alec B. ever played the role of Adolph Hitler? I can easily imagine him in such as role, esp like when Hitler flys off into a rage. I can see Alec doing that... a little too well.

Do they stone anyone in some cultures for wifebeating? Henry Hyde and I were just wondering.
off sarcasm!

Actually, I think he looks more like Rudolph Hess. Now if we can just get him to fly off to another country we would be all set.

I remember reading eyewitness accounts about how Alec the Brave would humiliate Kim Basinger in public and in front of their child, including a locally famous incident in a Long Island restaurant. If this is what he will do in public, it fits that he might be more physical in private.
Sadly, this does not do anything to diminish him in my eyes, because it is impossible for him to sink any lower in my estimation. What a waste of human flesh (and quite a bit of that, BTW!).

"She's worried about his stability," So is everyone else in the county. Join the club, hon.

Strangely enough, I just heard on Fox News that Tawny Kitaen, sometime actress and former O.J. girlfriend, has been charged with spousal abuse for beating up her husband.
She'd make a great second wife for Baldwin.

Why do we waste so much time over some dumb French actor?
To: redlipstick
It is one of the greatest injustices in the history of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences that Tawny Kitaen was denied her well-deserved Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her incomparable work in
Bachelor Party, with Tom Hanks.
The first time I saw Bachelor Party it was a Saudi censored version I rented in Somalia. They cut pretty much from the beginning credits to the end credits. The whole movie was about five minutes long!

PS, for all who are interested, I've been told that this person will be the featured guest tomorrow on Dennis Miller Live. I'm curious to see if Dennis asks him about his unfulfilled vow to leave the country since W won the election...
