Two more forum suggestions: one large, one small.

Kudos on the new forum format. Here are two more suggestions, one small and one large:

First, I find that I'm most often more interested in who wrote a post than in who it was sent to. Accordingly, it would be easier to navigate if From: was listed at the top of each post, then followed on the same line by To:

Second, after just perusing a very long article/comments, I've come to the conclusion that one-level threading is too limited.

(IMO, newsgroups have the best multi-level threading characteristics; my mail client, Agent, also threads beautifully. But public html is generally not safe in news and mail clients.

In any case, I think an option on each page to sort by thread would make the discussions easier to follow and participate in. Yahoo Groups' Web archives has such an option, and for long threads invoking it serves the reader well.

Thx, paulb

PS: I checked the Vanities box for this thread, but I see above that it says News/Activism. Not sure why that is, but I've doublechecked and can't see that I've done anything incorrectly, so here goes...

It might also be nice if, on Latest Posts, the "To" poster's name were a link as well as the "From" poster's.
