Catholics for a Free Choice — whose mission is to work for marriage and optional celibacy for priests as well as women’s rights (including abortion) — has ramped up its activity. It plans to hold an international meeting at the United Nations in May, according to the group’s president Frances Kissling.

The "group" consists of Frances Quisling, a couple of her NAG Feminazi buddies, a fax machine, and an office suite in Manhattan paid for by the Ford Foundation, the Packard Foundation, and various other usual suspects.

This is the liberal Catholic agenda that has been trying to make the public believe clergy-abuse is a "Catholic" issue for 20+ years now (successfully for the last 10 or so). I am starting to believe this is their last big push. We will be hearing a lot from them over the next couple years as they try to use it to change the Church, but I think they have already lost. This won't be the last we hear from them, but I expect their power in the Church is waning.

Exactly. It's because of the influence of groups of this type that the Church has been infiltrated by so large a number of evil priests. The Church needs to clean house by retruning to traditional values and ignoring clymers like these.

That is a very long tradition. It has survived worse times than this and will continue to do so.

Keep in mind that any change must come from the vatican and impacts catholics in ALL countries, not just the US. The changes they seek will not happen ... ever!
