S. on a work visa and he jokingly mentioned that he has not and probably won't be applying for a green card - so if he loses his job he will have to leave immediately and be sent back to Israel." That is interesting! The fact that he is in this country for a short time. There is a thing called political asylum that he could apply for since Isreal is our ally and is under attack. Or would this turn into another Elian Gonzalez deal?

I guess they haven't made up their mind as to whether or not to become Am. citizens. Probably waiting to see what will happen in the Mid-East. In the meantime, he will be staying here in Georgia.
